I'm going to be honest. When the album initially came out, this wasn't a song I initially gravitated towards. Sure, it was nice and I could listen to it but with songs like Bad at Love and Devil in Me, which were my two faves, 100 Letters just kind of faded into the background. And now, a little over a year after it came out, 100 Letters is my favourite. It grew on me like a rash and it makes me feel so nice listening to it.

ik no one will even acknowledge this post, but this song speaks to me on many levels. I've known this boy for the past 5 years of my life and we dated and we had good times and we had bad times. after we broke up, the road was bumpy, which breakup isn't, but I dated him 4 years ago and I'm still hooked on the fact that he wants something more than sex. he would always call me over and I would be clueless enough to not know that it was a booty call cause it was like midnight and the lyrics "please don't go away, it's too late" shook me when I heard it the first time. I spent so many nights crying over him for no reason and wasting my time "i can't stop thinking that I almost gave you everything... I know im 2 years late but i had similar experience as you did. My ex and i broke up twice but i gave up on our relationship the second time because i realized im his booty call. He got upset that i [female] asked one of my friends i havent talked in a while to be my "date" [friend is female] for afterschool party for JROTC. She knew the whole situation about him using me and told me to leave him. She's was right on both times i got back with him. I opened my eyes to know what was going on with him.
