If you were close enough, you'd probably feel a lot of infrasound coming out in her roar.
Vhagar has the best roar its like an "old Ironsides" ship with such little care in it its like she doesn't care if you're scared or not she knows she's the baddest
In HOTD Vhagar is super old which kinda misleads people to think she’s old and frail but in the conquest she and Visenya quite literally fought most battles for Aegon and unleashed terror wherever they both showed up.

A dragon at this age should die from a scorpion bolt. Stormcloud was around the same age and died from a scorpion bolt through the neck. But in the show they’re massive and thus makes it ridiculous that a toothpick would harm them.
Oh, Vhagar. My favourite dragon in the franchise. She's a natural with her voice, from that of a lazy cow (🐮) to a pissed off hippo (🦛). Just...such talent for a dragon.

All three of them had unique roars! Viserion was somewhat similar to Drogon’s, but had a different quality to it. Once he became undead it was definitely different. And yes, Rhaegal’s was more eagle-like rather than menacing like Drogon’s.

I think that each roar fits the dragon, it's character and what it represents. Drogon is masculine and powerful "I'm The Alpha Dragon, The Black Dread reincarnated", Meleys sounds majestic, Vhagar ancient and powerful, Caraxes - my favourite in HotD nasty, fits The Red Worm and the nasty behaviour she was known for
Vhagar’s roar when killing Arrax and Lucerys was a surprise given that she came off as pretty uninterested about everything. As you said she looked so lazy it sounded like mooing but the last roar was chilling. She was angry and sounded like it. And Caraxes... I’ve come to like that dragon and his roar. She has seen the most combat, the most strife, she's carried several different riders, she knows the most, is the most intelligent, and the most ferocious. She has no need to put on any airs to terrify anyone in her presence.
Caraxes is fucking terrifying. His roar is like a bellow, yet high pitched, and his look is so shady and menacing. He looks menacing, they nailed the emotion of caraces.
Caraxes has a deviated septum that leads to his distinct roar. Caraxes is my favorite dragon in all of GOT/HOTD. I love his design, ferocity and his uncanny connection with his rider Prince Daemon. They are a perfect match.
Also since they’re supposedly cutting 3 dragons from the show adaptation, which do you think won’t make the cut? Given that all 3 wild dragons are supposed to be in the tv series my guess is storm cloud, shrykos, and morghul. It would be weird for them to cut morning out
The reason Vhagar’s roar is so low pitched like that is Bc it’s described as being able to shake the foundations of Storm’s End. So every time you’ve heard her roar on screen she’s been holding back, and low frequencies are more damaging.

Some of these do sound like creaky old doors, rusty old engines or just winds howling. I was thinking there would be more oomph, more deep chest roars and almost yelling type voices to some of these. Understandable for the old ones, but not the others that are about Drogon's size. I wish to hear Balerion's roar. May it rattle bones and shatter glass. May it strike fear into all and cause nightmares. May it roar and hiss like fire. May it ripple in the darkness like the void. May it boom and crack like explosions. May it be beastly and of raw power.

While each dragons is already different by colors, scales, etc, he seems to be even more different from the other. Meleys has such a cool sound. She sounds like a child crying, a hyena laughing, and a woman screaming all at once.
