How to Fix a Bent Derailleur Hanger on a MTB

In this video, we use a homemade tool to align my bent derailleur hanger on my mountain bike.
If your gears are skipping and making noise but only on certain cogs, then that is a sign that your derailleur hanger is bent.

My chain started jumping into my dorky disk, so I changed the indexing which fixed the problem.
Then it started doing it again!
So with some inspection I found that I had some impact marks on my derailleur, which probably bent my hanger just a hair.
Turns out, I often bang the derailleur while walking my bike through my front gate.
Since I live in the ass end of Egypt; getting an alignment tool is just impossible and shipping in a new hanger, costs as much as the tool!
So for me; this is probably my absolute best option.
