These car carrier ships amaze the shit out of me with their size and how they are built so heavy duty. The amount of cars packed in them

Is that Cantonese that I hear in the background conversation?

The one fellow with his whistle would confuse the hell out of me with his nonstop whistles while the other whistle-men were very definite about their command/instructions to stop.

I think the one whistling more is doing those whistles as set-commands. Spotters warn of obstructions (like people in the way, walls, other cars), so they don't have to whistle as much. The one who whistles more is the one who's saying "next step", "finish", "next", "finish", etc. He's basically keeping time.
      I think that's what's going on.

Do they put all the car keys in a big bucket and give them all to the captain of the ship?

That's crazy how they're back stowing that whole deck, and the spotter is literally at the back of the vehicle with the driver looking backwards. 😳

What about ventilation and danger of carbon monoxide poisoning? These guys are in close quarters and a low ceiling. How do they ventilate it safely? Great video.

Judge by the truth those cars are VW ones, and those workers seems to be talking Cantonese....I think this video was more likely to been filmed in China.

      Crews are almost always international

@@lucascarroll3403 Usually these would be dock workers moving the cars, not vessel crew.
The ship likely only have 15-20 crew members, and 1/3 need to be resting.
