Fading Steps
- Set in guideline with 0 lever closed
- lever open set in next guideline
- 1 guard lever open next guideline
- 1.5, 2 ,3,4 guard blend up
- Clipper over comb
- Blend second guideline w/ .5 guard open to 3 qtr
- Continue blending second guideline w/ 1 guard 3qtr
- Blend first guideline w zero, lever closed
- Open lever half way, continue blending
- Continue blending with lever open
- Do any touch up work
- Use trimmers to take out bottom hair
- Use electric shaver
- Do any line up with trimmers
- Shave with straight razor

Yes the difference is only where you start your first guideline. A low fade would start low and the high fade will start around temple peak

I really like your channel I am learning a lot but how do you handle the clippers when it gets too hot?

There's a few factors to consider when that happens, 1 I like to cut hair in a cool place so somewhere that has ac, 2 it takes time but you have to learn to turn off the clipper a lot while your cutting if that makes sense, for example when you are cutting one side then turn the chair to the other side, in that split moment I would turn of the clipper, try not to keep it running continuously, also I like to keep two clippers in station to alternate between cuts.
