During my undergraduate, I was running away from statistics bcoz I found it difficult to understand, but now is part of my favorite courses.😂😂😂. Thanks for making things easier.

Thank you so much sir. I am one of those that have that statistics phobia. But after listening to your lecture, oh my , you really made it easy to understand. I also appreciate the examples you give, also makes understanding easier. Keep up the good work sir!
The study of statistics course materials has always been a daunting task for me until I watched this simplified and student embracing approach lecture video. Thanks for this content.
The difference between statistics and biostatistics is the application of the former (i.e the different statistical methods) in biological, medical and public health data, this is attributed to biostatistics.
Well Prepared Lecture and the Transmission was just Adequate Thanks a million. Question Sir. From your Explanation of Types of Statistics, Does it mean Inferential Statistics can not exist independently of Descriptive statistics?
This is a very good question Akinyemi. Usually to make an inference, you need to first have a sample that you work on. And from that sample you will need to summarize the characteristics of the sample to be able to use it to make an inference most of the time. So inferential statistics relies on having descriptive statistics first.
Thanks for the very explanatory lecture. Will it be correct to say, there is no inferential statistics without descriptive statistics? Hence the foundation upon which inferential statistics is built
You have a good point there sir. But if you know, inferential statistics uses several techniques like hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, and regression and correlation analysis. These may not all depend on descriptive statistics. So I want you to consider both as complementing each other not looking at each in a binary way, they are really most often used in conjunction. 😊
Good morning sir just finished watching the video it was well explanatory thank you but pls can find the link to the quiz and I saw a comment that say check LMS but dnt know how to go about that pls can you help sir thank you
Thank you so much sir for the awesome lecture. So simplified and I perfectly understood. Statistics involves the collection, organization, analysis, interpretation and presentation of statistical data, while Biostatistics is the application of statistical data in biological, medical and public health for wise decisions.
