Changing your role also removes bread. Happened to me as coven when being retrained.
Oh I remember this something mentioned from Pipetron's audience about being able to speak if supposed to be Silenced
I recall it had something to do about Amnesiac having a role overwrite when afflicted cleanses ailments for some reason
imagine being poisoned as an amne, getting a role, and surviving just to be hung for surviving the poison

The amnesiac just forgor everything, even that they were silenced
I've seen a werewolf speak while silenced once after full on claiming silenced, I was coven myself so I could see that he had the icon and all, after he did the "..." he said "ti" and got hung for it lol.
@@SinfulEuphxria Amne is clearly the most powerful town role in the lore, he can simply just forget that he was afflicted and anything that was affecting him instantly ceases to be.

Amne forgot he couldnt speak and he spoke anyway but at the end of the day he remembered he was silenced and just... Silenced himself

And then there was 10, the "experienced" player who threw the game, but thankfully the jackal and coven counter-f*ucked up and made it winnable for town again.

10's explanation of "I thought someone else would vote" has got to be one of the stupidest things I've ever seen in town of salem 😭 that isn't even bystander effect anymore you were the ONLY person who could've voted

Pause at 9:32 you see that 10 did vote but 9 cancelled their vote, so 7 didn't get upped because of 9.

It's cause of the weird transition from Amnesiac over to Psychic.
Something bugs out and removes any negative effect that was placed on you.
Either that or it's CL change, but the first explanation is what I've encountered the most.
Imagine if that was the case with other buffs/debuffs, baker + pb visit you, but you just "forget about it" and the apocs are sitting there, fuming that they got set back a day.
It probably switches your class to the new role but overwrites your data with the default data.

I mean, they still lose because Crusader obviously blocked off the Jackal kill, but still. Horrible choices of killing from both the Jackal and Voodoo Master.
because the Jackal killed the confirmed coven in a game where he needed numbers?
9 has a point, but he shouldn't have killed the outed wilding earlier when he could attack a townie instead. Only then, the VM attacking/silencing the outed Jackal turns into the deciding factor for who wins the match.

It's because it's a bug with amnesiac, when you are amne and turned to another role while u got silenced on the same night the game thinks you are not silenced with the new role you got, kinda weird to explain.
That has to be a major bug 200% Also love it how you didn't notice at first and Love your content!

I was 9 that match. My train of tought at the end there was this : Afther D3 when 1 of my recs got lynched, i made the decision to kill off a Pandora to basically painta target on all of their backs when 6 outted them. It was a calculated one, since i knew VM was there so there was bascialy 1 less townie Miscalculated because ADHD, and where about to lose evil maj. 10 not voting gave me another chance tho.
And thats where Voodoo screwed not only me, but himself over aswell.
I was expecting basic logic from the last Pandora to kill crus to avoid UO, and since we needed a doublekill to get into a 2 v 1 v 1 stalemate, i needed to gamble on which target crus would be on... I gambled wrong... BUT THEN VOODOO ATTACKED ME.
HE ATTACKED THE OUTTED JACKAL.
YOUR 1 WAY TO WIN.
I was incredibly pissed, not only because of myself, but also because Voodoo did the DUMBEST move in that entire game...
I might have autism/ADHD, i might not be able to track chat well, but come on man...

I think everyone already answered how this happened but its a coding thing. Since you were originally an amnesiac and were silenced as an amnesiac the coding changed for your role which over written how the silence interacts with your character. 🤓 Gotta love game interaction and how coding works.

Just another reason why Coroner is the strongest role in Town of Salem 2. Coroner Gaming
Nothing to do with the class itself, it was 100% skill + guile. Saying it's cuz they were coroner feels like it subtracts from the sheer bamboozlement they pulled.
@vartosu11 I agree it takes skill and guile to pull it off, but the coroner themselves praised the fact their ability gave the exact role of their target for why they were able to bamboozle Pandora.
@@Skrymasterwould have to disagree. They knew in their heart that Coroner's skill is bad. That's why they try something hard or unexpected in this role, same to Jester.
It takes an insane amount of experience to pull out the psycological play and scum reading the role. That's why there are high skill Coroners and the best TI Jester in the game.

I remember seeing this happening in a video RIGHT as ToS2 came out, was it your channel or pipetron? I feel like I remember a spy seeing the silence in a bug and confirming it as real.
Amne is a weird role with many bugs. Did you know that you can't clean gasoline off yourself in TOS1 if you were doused earlier as an amne arso? So if you were doused before becoming arsonist, you will still be secretly doused when you ignite.
i had this bug yesterday i just typed random letters because i was bored and silenced but then it went through and i was so confused
I imagine if you were a Cursed Soul and swapped roles with someone while silenced, this same bug would trigger. I could be wrong, I'll need someone to fact-check that for me.

Oh the Amne bug occured. I think the game only remembered your were silenced when the day almost ended and forgot since your role got updated from amne to psychic.
Hah! The infamous Amne bug! Nothing new here,.. (i have seen this bug again months ago) and this really should become part of the role. It really fit's the "i forgot" theme Amne has!
