Raik is actually a really good wonderweapon, however I love how all these reviewers saying the game is great now because they made there review on day 1 of the release.
It’s something that’s been noticeable with any “live service” game. The older game will long have had all its patches and content updates to make it a polished, content rich product, and then the new one launches in its base form with none of that. It’s simply an annoying trend of modern gaming, to the point where my suggestion is always to buy the previous game whenever a new CoD comes out.

You can always play the current one through if the next one isn't good. I still play MW despite CW being out (I play both consistently) but point being you don't have to jump ship because one game is newer

I'll stand by the fact that CW's gameplay, at the end of its lifecycle, is better than MW19's at the end of its lifecycle. Maps spawns and audio design are everything. CW's maps definitively flow better, have better spawns, and there's better audio awareness. Effects might sound better in MW, animations might look better, but that doesn't make it more fun to get shot at from 2 billion angles when going anywhere, consistently spawn with me back facing an enemy camp-crouched behind me, or when half the lobby is sat in a corner with a claymore. I can run and gun in Cold War like a classic cod, and its a lot of fun.
i really do wish they gave this game more time. It could have had all of the flair mw has with none of the downsides. considering how rushed this game was, i'm suprised that it even compares to mw, which had 3.2x the development time.
@@mayonnaise3959 MW19's gunplay is great, and unlike a lot of people, I enjoy the ttk. I think for people like me, I don't think the gunplay is 'amazing' because it feels like it's mimicking something like insurgency sandstorm, so it's not as much of a dealmaker, but I also see why it would be a dealmaker for others. With that being said, part of me still enjoys CW's gunplay on the basis that it feels very BO1/BO2, and I love those games. It took cod back to that arcadey/casual-style shooter I grew to know and love one last time before the new engine took over. I love the new engine, but I don't think its fair to say CW's gunplay is ass, its just not quite as good.
I have some problems with some specific maps (mainly collateral god i hate that map), but overall I think this is such a good multiplayer. Grinding guns is fun and that's mainly what's gonna keep me hooked on a game, the progression.
Honestly the current state of this game is a miracle the fact that it have 1/3 of the development time than MW have and still is in a better shape is amazing

I mean other than the new items and new skills everything else is ass. TH-camrs even admit they wouldn’t be playing if it wasn’t for the fact they need money. Outbreak is just is just a bigger version of onslaught so I fail to see how that’s new when all they did was take old offsets and just threw it into another game mode and said it’s “new”. I’ll give the zombie devs for doing the most with what they had but won’t act like they did anything special considering it’d be content they already be released on day one but since there’s people dumb enough to prefer it be dribbled down to us in a slow slow pace. Both maps are so your favorite TH-cam has to make challenges to actually enjoy himself.
Bocw zombies honestly was the most fun I had in a cod zombies. Everything else was honestly kinda boring but good for a while at best. The progression and grinding in cw was the one thing that had me having fun every match

Think you nailed it man, "scheme" is the most apt term for what has become simply the way to do things : Hype the game from 6 months out. Offer 3 different editions, which give no physical rewards, just in-game gear of varying quality. Release the beast - making sure the embargo is holding. Include limited number of maps and modes but hype hype hype upcoming content. Wait until after release to quietly slip allllll the microtransactions into the game. Basically spend the next few months finishing the game we already paid for, a slow arduous process of hot fixes, nerfs, buffs and the popular for-a-limited-time loot, but bring it back later for a price. Then sit about and think about what to buy with those juicy shares. The end.........until it's time to do it all again, for the 💰.
It really would be though. For some reason modern warfare 19 sbmm didn’t feel like it was that bad and that game was mad fun especially when it first came out
As of 2022 Cold War zombies has become my favorite iteration so far. Personally I like outbreak the most as it feels a bit less chaotic and you can get yourself some breathing room when you need it. And now that they’ve introduced the extra maps for it and the main Easter egg, it feels like you’re actually working towards something in the mode. Overall an 8/10 from me on just the outbreak mode.
@@vibecheck255 It’s a M79 grenade launcher in Cold War and specifically called that, the China Lake is a pump action grenade launcher but the M79 in Cold War is a break barrel design that can only be shot one at a time. They both look similar but the way they function is way different then you think.

I got the gold knife and can safely say im never doing another melee camo, it was fun but really tedious and they add more melee weapons than any one class of gun, it’s annoying

It’s a terrible game, filled with greasy sweats and the only way to be good is camp or use the overpowered guns. The one thing I liked was express and raid returning, and nuke town but who didn’t see that coming? Shit game in general. Worse then BO3 and BO4

That grenade launcher was already in the game at launch, and it's not a China Lake. The China Lake is a pump action grenade launcher, the one in the game is break action, it's an M79. Edit: Also, Modern Warfare's battle pass guns functioned EXACTLY the same as Cold War. Tier 15 and 31 are both guns, plus additional guns mid-season that are unlocked through challenges. If you missed the tier 15 and 31 guns, you can unlock them in challenges in later seasons, therefore keeping them available to all players permanently.

he's just wrong in so many ways. the pines fucking sucks as a map. too open and too big with a dogshit layout. he's purely misinformed about the battlepass weapons, you can literally get all of them without paying for the pass just like in mw. he didn't even bother to mention the horrible balancing mp has, so many smgs have literally no recoil and just melt and snipers are actually useless. gunsmith actually sucks too with the stats mods give. any gun thats bad stays bad reguardless of mods. i don't even hate cold war as much as others do but there's so many objective flaws it feels like he ignores all because "the game doesnt crash anymore" (which wasn't even an issue on pc). i love zombies, but i would seriously rather just play warzone.

Hype the game from 6 months out. Offer 3 different editions, which give no physical rewards, just in-game gear of varying quality. Release the beast - making sure the embargo is holding. Include limited number of maps and modes but hype hype hype upcoming content. Wait until after release to quietly slip allllll the microtransactions into the game. Basically spend the next few months finishing the game we already paid for, a slow arduous process of hot fixes, nerfs, buffs and the popular for-a-limited-time loot, but bring it back later for a price. Then sit about and think about what to buy with those juicy shares. The end.........until it's time to do it all again, for the 💰.

As of 2022 Cold War zombies has become my favorite iteration so far. Personally I like outbreak the most as it feels a bit less chaotic and you can get yourself some breathing room when you need it. And now that they’ve introduced the extra maps for it and the main Easter egg, it feels like you’re actually working towards something in the mode. Overall an 8/10 from me on just the outbreak mode.

They both look similar but the way they function is way different then you think.

It’s a terrible game, filled with greasy sweats and the only way to be good is camp or use the overpowered guns. The one thing I liked was express and raid returning, and nuke town but who didn’t see that coming? Shit game in general. Worse then BO3 and BO4

That grenade launcher was already in the game at launch, and it's not a China Lake. The China Lake is a pump action grenade launcher, the one in the game is break action, it's an M79. Edit: Also, Modern Warfare's battle pass guns functioned EXACTLY the same as Cold War. Tier 15 and 31 are both guns, plus additional guns mid-season that are unlocked through challenges. If you missed the tier 15 and 31 guns, you can unlock them in challenges in later seasons, therefore keeping them available to all players permanently.

he's just wrong in so many ways. the pines fucking sucks as a map. too open and too big with a dogshit layout. he's purely misinformed about the battlepass weapons, you can literally get all of them without paying for the pass just like in mw. he didn't even bother to mention the horrible balancing mp has, so many smgs have literally no recoil and just melt and snipers are actually useless. gunsmith actually sucks too with the stats mods give. any gun thats bad stays bad reguardless of mods.
i don't even hate cold war as much as others do but there's so many objective flaws it feels like he ignores all because "the game doesnt crash anymore" (which wasn't even an issue on pc). i love zombies, but i would seriously rather just play warzone.
