16 years ago I broke out of a 20+ year addition and I have to say this: I don't think that Bam is done yet. The rhetoric seems oddly familiar and at this point I question his will power. I wish him the best and I sincerely hope that I am wrong. Good luck Bam.

He's had periods of seeming sobriety and taking care of himself but he has repeatedly slid back to the partying, drinking, and drug use a million times by now. Even here, he's not being honest and taking responsibility which is a morbid sign that he's not ready to do better and be better.

He refuses to do the work. If he really cared, he would make every effort possible to set up visitations, using court appointed mediators, to see his son. If he wants to drink well then let him. But Nikki doesn't want their son to be around him when he's intoxicated. Bam himself admitted he lashed out at her and punched a wall in front of Phoenix. She's not perfect herself but at least she knew to finally separate herself from that environment.

im a "ex" addict aswell and honestly u know as well as we do you cant take 1 or 2 movements on a 2 minute video to declare someone high... theres alot of factors, getting out of a court room, having a camera in his face talking about difficult subjects causing nervousness.. theres a alot of variables and such a small fragment of video to go off of to tell if hes high or not lol

My heart always breaks for Bam. I just want to see him do better for himself and his son, as much as it sucks for Bam, she has every right to keep their son away from him. Stay clean and sober for a year and things will start to improve. Time will tell. He takes zero responsibility for any of his problems.
I do feel like him not being able to see his son is making him worse. And I agree with what he said about the rehabs... they aren't that helpful. Being cooped up in a room all day while they milk your bank account isn't helpful... I just hope things somehow work out for bam in the long run but I feel that his ex is very manipulative and way worse than we all know and she's adding to the crazy that is bam lately. well he totally nailed it about the rehab circle trying to milk every penny out of insurance. It's not the first time I've heard about that. I think I saw it on Soft White Underbelly. I was shocked. But it all makes perfect sense. I've heard even worse things about how some even sabotage recovery by bringing addicts drugs just so they can start the program all over because they relapsed. Money is the worst drug out there.

I think she is protecting the child. When someone is not sober and has erratic behavior. This is not a safe place for a child. The trauma that inflicts on that child us not okay. Hopefully he can get some sober time and be in his son's life.
