I am asking this because later when Umar ibn al-Khattab (RA) became the Caliph, a Christian man approached him in Madinah with a complaint about the son of the governor, Amr ibn al-Aas. The Christian was wrongly whipped after he defeated Amr ibn al-Aas's son. Umar chose to side with the Christian despite him being a Christian. جَزَاكَ ٱللَّٰهُ خَيْرًا
