Nice to see Dil again. I've missed his laugh on Saturday nights but I know he decided not to go with you on your drives anymore and I respect his decision. This was so funny. That mall looked to be really nice in it's heyday. Everything back then seemed to be so classy. My parents had a paddle too, it was called Dr Spock. I think they used it once and after that all they had to do was threaten "Do you want me to go get Dr. Spock?" LOL
Dan, I just gotta say, I have been watching you since 2014 and you are one of the funniest dudes on youtube. Not only is your cinematic flare/expertise on point, but your humour leaves me in tears and any video of yours absolutely jump starts my day, never stop stopping and keep on rockin on
I love this video it made me laugh when I was so depressed. You and Dillion make a good team and both of you always put a smile on my face. Please make more video' s like this.
So many memories from Harundale Mall. The floating water faucet at the pizza shop in the middle of the mall to the old Chat street store. Miss those days so much. Thanks for doing your thing Dan, appreciate you going to these places. La Fontaine Bleue.... I went to a Computer convention there back in 94ish,... All the 4x disc drives your heart could handle.
Roses is my Joint. Dont knock Roses they are still one of the Oldest Stores that still exist. Their formula works. I get all my dove body wash from there. 😂😂
The talking Reindeer were "Beau & Tinsel". I was always told they were at the Towson Hutzlers. Maybe both stores had them? The Beau & Tinsel from Towson Hutzlers are on display at Christmas sometimes. They were found in the basement of the Book store now in the old Hutzlers building
I had many memories here as a child. My grandmother would take me to the mall every sunday after church. I remember the pet store with the sunken ship design inside, fish for sale in the port holes. I was a kid when the mall closed and I cried when I seen the pet store was gone.
Your comedy and satire was spotless in this vid, pure enjoyable brilliance, thanks DB. You had a John Watersesque vitriol, a fellow Baltimore legend. The semeny hand soap goes great with the taco nights ensemble. Ghetto PineSol always tastes like Ginger Ale
I miss that mall! 😢. And thank you for the reindeer story. I always wondered where I saw the talking reindeer when I was a kid! I thought I had imagined it.
Yep used to hang out a Harundale Mall, lived in Harundale, and was born on South Stricker st, a couple blocks from Ramsey st, moved to Harundale at 13, crazy times
I get a little bit nostalgic every time I drive by the old Harundale Mall site. I remember the Erols. My parents rented a VCR along with Michael Jackson's Thriller sometime in the early 80's. My favorite spot was always the fountain. I can still remember the way it smelled. Funny, but I have the same memory of Jumpers Mall too - the smell of the fountain.
We had a few of those groceries stores in Canada as well with the exact same design , there is one in a nearby town that is being used as a thrift store now ....
My brother in law used to work at Erol's HQ in Springfiled, VA and knew Erol personally. My sister also worked at Erol's and this is where my brother in law and my sister met. One of my cousins also worked at Erol's too. I never worked at Erol's.
When I was growing up I thought La Fontaine Bleue was high class and you only went to Sunset for extra special occasions bc it was so fancy 😭 Watching you explore my hometown is so surreal!
Lived downt he street from Harundale, in a house which is long gone located where the entrance to the Marley Station Mall is/was, not sure as I haven't been near there in quite a few years. We lived there during the 73 gas crunch and cars would line up on Ritchie Hwy and block our driveway trying to get gas at the Shell station nearby. Ann's Dairy Cream was just up from the Shell station. Owner sold the house to the mall developer. All of it long gone now.
I do like the fact that the overhead music they're trying to cover up is the same horrible corporate music I am forced to listen to as a retail worker.
I had the day off today, so I kept thinking it was Saturday and was like “cant wait for the livestream with Dan tonight”. Then turns out it’s Friday but you posted this beauty! ❤ Also, Toast Ems are delicious. Pop Tarts are grainy.
16:25 should have been the thumbnail XD One of your best videos. I miss your videos of goofing off in stores. Those and the dead mall series are my faves. Cheers.
I live right my the MVA, would've been cool to have met you. I'm too young to remember Harundale as an inside mall, but I remember Marley when it was a busy place in the 90s.
That mooing cow could be given to a Subaru owner. There's a recent trend of Subaru owners mooing when they pass each other and leaving cow cut outs on one another's vehicle's. It's called "moo moo Subaru". I don't know where, when or why it started, but apparently it's a thing now.
My parents have a 2003 Subaru Outback, but its just the backup car right now so its driven like 25% of the time or less, the main one is a Nissan Frontier truck. But I never heard of that before. I will have to tell them not to freak out if someone leaves a cow on the car. And yes my mom is the kind that would be freaked out by something odd like that, lol, and definitely won't be partaking in this wacky thing you speak of.
I absolutely love the thumbnail for this video, Dan. I would gladly watch you walk around those trash department stores every day. It's always awesome to see Dillon too - like someone else said, he brings out your best humor ❤
0:02 try out that Pizza Italia one day. Very good food!!! I've seen pictures of the Haurendale Mall on this group page on Facebook for the Glen Burnie area. I couldn't believe how big it was on the inside. 3:50 I travel that road everyday to and from work. That church, on Tuesday morning's, has a food bank style kind of give away, and it's got a long line. My mom told me about that being a theater a while ago. It would be cool if it was a theater again. 6:00 I swear, for the longest time, everytime I went into that Roses, it seriously smelled like liquid diarrhea medicine. It used to be a matterest store, it was a Steve and someone else's name tuxedo store, but that didn't last long at all. Next door, next to that road that lead to the side entrance of that shopping center, was Block Buster.
Great to see Dan laughing and smiling
_Dan smelling/reviewing soaps & other products was surprisingly entertaining._
a smell vlog !
“Cmon mama, let’s go” 😂😂😂😂
I laughed so hard ❤😂
@@SteveStellsame 🤣🤣
Laughed the whole way through this - thanks for taking us along Dan!! (& Dillon)
"The deer knew everything about us"

Calling your sense of smell your “nose buds” 😂
Shopping with these two guys is hilarious. Fantastic episode.
Dillon’s presence really brings out Dan’s best humor.
Yeah he really does…I like Dillon he seems like a good guy! Good to see him in a video again.
I agree 😄they are awesome together
"This is what's left of my grandmother." And THAT's when I spit Diet Coke all over my monitor...
Damn, Roses just calling out y’all’s bad ass kids on the speaker. Roses ain’t having it today.
You kids better not act the fool up in Roses TODAY! 👉🏻
I think this is the hardest I’ve laughed at a Dan Bell video.
Got a stomach ache laffing so hard!

"Drew saw the whole thing. She loved it!" Perfect ending for this funny video. Thanks Dan 😄

I always love it when they go to the thrift stores and Goodwill!
My grandma also had a wood paddle but it had two heart shaped holes in it for airflow.
As another Anne Arundel kid who now lives in Baltimore, I have to say that your video brings back a ton of memories. Thank you!!
I love this video it made me laugh when I was so depressed. You and Dillion make a good team and both of you always put a smile on my face. Please make more video' s like this.

This format always has me in stitches!!! Love it Dan!

There’s Dylan wearing his hood Teletubbie outfit! 😂😂😂
You just crack me up... you were on a roll.
OMG I AM SO HAPPY TO SEE DYLAN!!!🎉
I love these crackhead energy videos so much 😂
I love Dillon's laugh.
Me too 😊
Always nice to see a vibrant & sassy Dan.
Things that once were, but no longer are... thanks Dan
OMG, Dan you sassy beyooootch!!! Laughed so hard my belly hurts.
Yay Dylan is out and about!😊
Been a joy to rewatch this.
Something interesting, something hilarious, and something serious. The trifecta! Thanks Dan, I needed a good laugh today.
Your videos always make my day!!
OMG The paddle, My mom kept hers on top of the fridge...she only had to reach for it 😂
My mother kept hers under the VCR until I pushed it all the way underneath so she couldn't use it.
I freaking love Dan Bell. That is all.
The Rose's roast is gold.
Dan reviewing random crap in Roses as well as some good old stories. Always happy to see a Dan video.
What's better than this? Dan and Dillon just chillin'.
This video was a blast
You got called out by roses Dan 😂
I love your department store roasts. They always make me laugh so damn hard.
It's always a treat when DanB pops up with something like this!
“Drew saw the whole thing, she loved it.” 😂😂

Love the dancing while shopping😂
This was awesome ❤!!!! Thank you Dan. Nice to see you again, Dylan.
You two remind me of when my bestie and I go on vacation 😂😂
It’s nice to see you having a good time Dan ☺️
We had a few of those groceries stores in Canada as well with the exact same design , there is one in a nearby town that is being used as a thrift store now ....
Love these types of films in the stores

Ann’s is still there and thriving.

@Dan been having a pretty rough time. This brought me some good laughs, appreciate it thanks man.
Omg I haven't been to Harundale Mall in 35 years. I was 9 years old with my granny❤❤
love ya so much buddy, thanks for taking us along on your adventure today
Roses was the place to go for flip flops and beach towels in Ocean City.
I loved your goofiness Dan 14:00
I do like the fact that the overhead music they're trying to cover up is the same horrible corporate music I am forced to listen to as a retail worker.
God those cards made no sense. That was a hilarious trip and then BAM family annihilator. Thanks Dan. XD
I had the day off today, so I kept thinking it was Saturday and was like “cant wait for the livestream with Dan tonight”. Then turns out it’s Friday but you posted this beauty! ❤
Also, Toast Ems are delicious. Pop Tarts are grainy.
Dan introduced me to more brands of TP than I've seen in the last 20 years lol
wasn't there a "harundale 8" theater somewhere? I could swear I remember going there. Weird how I suddenly remembered that 😐
Dan the La Fontainebleue is where Cuddles (Edith Massey) has here Debutante Ball in John Waters film POLYESTER. LOL
glad to see Dillon back!
16:25 should have been the thumbnail XD
One of your best videos. I miss your videos of goofing off in stores. Those and the dead mall series are my faves. Cheers.
im a simple man. i wake up from a post work nap, i see a dan bell video, i watch that dan bell video
Cool story though
You could get Pray for Rain and change it to Pray for Brains! (A great Golden Girls quote)
Your time in the store was Hilarious! And I always love your morbid history!
I love you Dan! Never quit ❤️❤️
i always love your videos, but i was laughing hard during the roses part
I love shopping with Dan 💜😂
I needed that shopping vlog haha.
Thanks for the history lesson Dan…
Live around the corner from these places. Not originally from this area so it’s interesting to hear some history
Always a guilty pleasure to watch you. I'll be binge watching you soon.
7:07 Bob Seger never gets old!
I live right my the MVA, would've been cool to have met you. I'm too young to remember Harundale as an inside mall, but I remember Marley when it was a busy place in the 90s.
The name Virtue Toilet Paper at the discount store makes me feel like I'll be making a sacrifice by buying it : )
I remember Erol’s and going to that movie theater
Hilarious 😂😂😂☠️ Love this!
I remember the a buffet there back in the 80s…it was on the 2nd level
This was hilarious. It’s great to see Dillon again

The best Dan Bell video I have ever seen!!!!
That department store… is like if big lots and a dollar store had a love child
Some of those are actually from the Dollar Tree too 😂
0:02 try out that Pizza Italia one day. Very good food!!! I've seen pictures of the Haurendale Mall on this group page on Facebook for the Glen Burnie area. I couldn't believe how big it was on the inside.
