The Baron Doban Is EPIC!!!. I wonder what would happen if there was a combination between him, Zenger, and Elzam? All I know is that there is nothing in their way or will be left!
Am I the only one who thinks this guy looks like he combines with something? I mean, his proportions remind me of the kind of machine that makes up the abdomen and legs of a giant super robot, his shoulder pads scream leg extenders and the mace looks like it breaks apart into additional armor components. Or have I just been watching to much super robot anime?
Baran Doban's mech, "Bemi Doban" was hundreds of years old... it was the Doban Family Heirloom... so they keep upgrading the mech for hundreds of years and it ended up in that state.
He does kind of look like that. A machine that turns into a pair of legs and a connector for whatever other mech forms the upper body to attach to. Though I'd assume that his massive iron ball would probably combine with the other machine's weapon to form something truly amazing. Maybe even sprout beam-spikes from those spherical holes.
apparently not, his giant metal ball is just... a metal ball... with boosters. in SRW Alpha 3, his upper body can spin independently from the waist down... while swinging his metal ball... then the boosters on the metal ball will ignited and launch the ball, added with the momentum from the spin, to the enemy and literally destroy them to smithereens. Also in SRW Alpha 3, his attack also include debuff of reducing a large amount of target's defense
Z is highly unlikely to EVER feature in Original Generation(s), by Word of Terada. Maybe once (the remainder of) Alpha 3 and W are done with, there'll be a small chance, but not a major one. Besides, there was no follow-up to 'Asakim might be Masaki's parallel counterpart', with a (non) Anti-Heroic Shu.
Just imagine Sanger and his Dygenguar alone holding the line is pinned and about to get killed by enemy boss, suddenly a mysterious mech appear then this 0:00 theme started; *鉄 球 入 魂！*
@TekkenXer Probably something like "Takamatsu Finisher", a combination of Zengar's & Ratsel's "Takamatsu Zankentou" attack and Baran Doban's 360-spin slam attack.
Here's a good combo: Folka beats the shit outta the enemy and then follows up with Mougeki Shin Ken, which sends the enemy flying. Then Masaki comes in and hits the enemy with Akashic buster, sending the enemy even HIGHER, then Folka powers up Zengar's sword with his energy dragons, and Zengar cleaves the enemy in a blinding flash of light. Then Zengar, Folka and Masaki will just simply walk away while the explosion goes off.

I know this comment is 8 years old but to my knowledge they don't have a kana equivalent for the sound made in Baron. Which I realized when there didn't seem to be an equivalent for my first name. Your options for the second syllable are Roh-N and Rah-N This is because their alphabet, except for N, all have a vowel following each letter. So you have Rah, Roh, Roo, etc. But there is no Ruh, so there's no opportunity to actually make a combination of hiragana that sound like the word Baron. Granted, I only recently started learning Japanese so maybe there's something I'm missing out on, but Baran and Baron are both valid spellings, and if it was intended to be a title the only way to actually know would be to ask the creator of the character.

Baran Doban first used a Boost Hammer as his primary weapon. The Boost Hammer evolved into the current flail he's using because of his manliness.
