- June 11, 2010 - Coronation Market has seen a rise in traffic since the conflict in neighboring Tivoli Gardens, but vendors are still struggling to make ends meet due to a 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. curfew that disrupts conventional business hours in the market. The Gleaner captured the voices of those who were willing to speak on camera.

When i visit Jamaica I always visit thr market. It just would not be a complete experience without the Carnation. I pray for the vendors hoping their business succeed.

Wow the government should build a proper market for the venders with at least basic amenity.
Ummmm.... okay. I'm American, but my parents are from Jamaica. Though I just like to watch & read Jamaican news. Why is it that whenever I watch a video of parliment all I see is light skin people and when I see vids like this it's just dark skin? Are my eyes foolin me?

I like how Jamaicans speak with a sense of urgency. Even when they're not saying anything of substance, they sound as if they're imparting wisdom for the ages.
I feel sorry for so many who never had the opportunity to get dental care. Poor or no dental care seems to be prevalent among some adults.
Like parenting, too bad these basic things are not taught in grade school.
It's alot better now cause they have fictional facilities and it cover wid stalls bit it's a good look dan how it was before but still can be better

Very sad to see that jobs are to hard to come by in the west indies. is why ppl need to watch their mouth when they bad talk how rough a place is with crime etc...can see the issue right here...

Sometimes things like this have to happen to get a better future for the nation to live in peace and happiness it may seems hard now but the best is yet to come just keep the faith god is great too much killing was going on out there therefore something like this would need to be done to have a better Jamaica .has we all know that some of the police officers out there need to go prison jail and wherever because some of them are working with the one's who are bringing Jamaica done where no one ever seen before it's a daaaaam disguise it's a shame just to hear and see what is going on out there .but thanks be to God the only God amen he is the one that sending help for those who really need help so if one thing i know help is on the way thank you lord in Jesus name we pray amen more love from the heart
