Hey, thanks! I actually ended up checking out all your uploads.
Yeah, the first one of the Pansonic demos was a little overly contrasted, had framerate issues (or for whatever other reason the framerate in panning shots wasn't smooth), and it had weird artifacts throughout certain scenes, but there were still beautiful parts. The second one was excellent - absolutely phenomenal! I've been waiting/hoping for a perfect HDR video with this kind of footage for a while now. The third one I liked as well, but personally I found it kinda weird tbh and for that reason unenjoyable.
In general, from all the ones I've seen, LG seems to make the best ones - the least overexposed and crushed, like with blown out highlights and clipped blacks, and overall the most balanced usually.
The beauty of HDR is supposed to be the wide reproduction of NATURAL light/color, not an oversaturated/overly contrasted middle range. Seems like many of the mastering engineers and people who do the grading just miss the point... The default calibration settings if most screens already do that, so the image often ends up just looking unpleasant.
Yep, I was having stutter/freeze-frame/jittery movement problems , trying to watch TH-cam Videos on my Trusty Legacy Mid 2009 MacBookPro Laptop, that's display port hooked up (carrying video only-no audio on this Laptop) to a "Clint Eastwood size" Philips 43 mag...I mean 43 inch BDM4350UC Monitor. Used to have to "back it down" the video setting to 1080p or definitely 720p (with no 60 stuff) to play my uTube Videos smoothly. Then I remembered my "round" Chromecast streaming device I use in the bedroom! Once I stuck the Chromecast on the back of my Living Room Philips Monitor and "fired up" a Chrome Browser on my Laptop, I simply "cast" the 1080p60 video onto my Philips and suddenly watched all my difficult videos (like this one) play smooth and clear with incredible resolution! It does help I'm at 4g internet speeds with Spectrum (formerly TWC) here in Los Angeles. My "tech geek mind" is asking, does streaming video somehow bypass the strained processing power of my old MacBookPro?
There is an issue with the upload. HDR appears on my smartphone, not my desktop. I verified that my desktop PC HDR works in other youtube videos.
@@designertjp-utube Yeah, if the video isn't playing smoothly it sounds like the computer wasn't fast enough, if it's pausing however, that means the internet speed isn't enough.

1:11 to 1:14 is the best scene for TV calibration and it will drive you insane! The red umbrellas look like a solid red color on a uncalibrated TV and after tweaking the settings you should see details such as the ribs of the umbrella and shadow detail in the canopy. Good Luck!

It’s nice in the summer... try staying there during the winter and you’ll get depressed as fuck. It’s almost impossible to live there. There’s nothing to do.. and nowhere to go because everything is closed.(hotels, restaurants, beaches, parks... even the supermarkets change the time to open and close) it’s crazy.
@@Poliana12329 l was a child when l lived there, l spent all my childhood there, til 13old, an happy childhood, it was in the 70's.. at that time it didn't make much difference between winter and summer ..
