We pronounce it praylean. We always like to go to a local store in a foreign country and see what they eat. I was surprised how much American stuff is there. Saw some of our British favorites that we miss. Loved it!

We love going grocery shopping in foreign countries. just grabbing anything that looks good to eat. it’s a great way to try all sorts of new foods when traveling and do it on the cheap.

We get a lot of our souvenirs from grocery stores. Love going into them and just checking out what they have. And like you, totally agree, 'the only bean worth eating is a jelly bean". Did you ever try the fish jerky?

We love that you are willing to try out so many new things!! That is literally one of our favorite things to do is trying snacks, foods and other treats in different countries!

The snack section is really tempting. I'm watching from Germany and we use the 2nd way of pronouncing like: Pr-ah-line

I would say I don't like the lack of go to condiments that I like such as Ranch and tartar also not a great fruit selection. I love trying new stuff and seeing the cultural differences and seeing what's the same.
