  • I had viewer reach out to me because his Tiger Stripe Wolverine had the tabs break off the shoulders. I am not a fan of removing mezco shoulders so I opened the figures and swapped the upper torsos.
The video is a little jumpy because I jump around. It's more of a commentary not a tutorial.

Was this the one you did for me? Or did you get another to fix? It's great seeing how you did it!

Hey man great videos:) have you ever worked on the ascending knight Batman I’m having some thread fraying over the right rib area and it looks like the same threading goes all the way up to the underarm near the wrist. Would you think that you’d have to start from scratch with a thread like that? It looks like it’s wrist to the arm pit down the rib across the low back up the other rib to the arm pit out to the other wrist. Fraying is only a few broken spots of thread on 1 rib. What do you think?

You don't have to go all the way to the wrists. Armpit to armpit is probably the only part that is hand sewn. That section creates a flap getting the figure in. You should be able to just stich the side you need to fix around the rib area. You'll just have to hide the thread when you're done. I sewed up classic Spider-Man and he's the same kind of stitching

Perfect :) thanks for the insight bud 🍻 how do you usually hide the thread

I would secure it well then cut it as close to the costume as possible but I'm a book. You could probably find really good techniques on TH-cam. I usually just wing it amd find the best place to hide the thread

Thts funny cuz I purposely broke off the shoulder pad parts on both my wolverines cuz they hinder articulation and used to pop off
