I struggle to enjoy the summer months as the intense heat and my light sensitivity flare up my chronic illness but stargazing on a perfect and quiet summer night is my favorite ritual of all time. 🌌🌠
@@TheyForgotMySalad Ditto! I moved to a very temperate rainforest from the desert. I love the cool, wet, mild temperatures here. It's so green! Happy green witch here.
Hello Ginny, hope your having a great Saturday. Today there was a thunderstorm where I live in Staffordshire, and whilst it was happening, my pendulum told me there was a brownie in my living room.
Thank goodness! A new Ginny video! Truly love your channel and sending warm wishes and warm hugs your way! Thank you for such enjoyable and inspiring videos! 🌞💛🌞💛
I also had a funny moment earrrrly this morning…about 2:30 am I could not for the life of me find my toddler’s pacifier and I had a thought ‘ what would Ginny do?’ I proceeded with my pendulum because I was convinced maybe a mischievous fae took it as a prank but lo behold I found it under my toddler as he slept🤣…needless to say I acquired more pacifiers today even tho I am trying to get him to stop at least for my sanity!
Thank you for another wonderful video. I love aspects of each season but I do love the sun and bees, respecting and appreciating their importance. I like to make a little bee bath/drinking area using a small, shallow bowl, some marbles and fill with a little water.
I also love the summer, and when in spring one can feel the heat of the sun after a cold winter. I can easily understand why our ancestors whorshoped the sun. In Norway bonfire on Mayday, or the night before is not common. We do have large bonfires on midsummer tho. And, specially in my part of the country, we celebrate the night before whitsunday with bonfire. And then it is importatnt to make as much smoke as possible. This year it will be on the 18 th of May, the day after our National day. And we he the following monday off as well.

Thank you Ginny. Here in Maryland our summers begin in June, July and August (very hot and humid the last 2 months) I prefer spring and enjoy all seasons. There is always a reason for the changes ha Cheers
Thank you Ginny for sharing!!!! I love the idea of lighting a candle to honor the sun God, I had a beautiful Beltane morning to welcome back the sun, and Awakening Mother Earth it was a very early and beautiful morning

We have been burning herbs for cleansing purposes for ever. The American Native smudge ceremony might be a closed ritual, but I do not perform that particular ritual - I perform my own cultural one. They are very similar and to say that it is cultural appropriation is a nonsense. I might as well say the native Americans are culturally appropriating my rituals. We might not have had white sage, but we certainly burnt sage in smudging rituals. Even the word smudge is English, not Native American - they have their own words for their own ritual in their own language. Does that help?

I love the heat, but yes my autoimmune disorders don't like it nor the cold.
We always leave milk & buttered honey bread out for our fae friends in our garden!

Oh me, too!! I'm an autumn witch for certain!

Don't forget to fertilize your roses as they get ready to bloom!
New gardener here..how do you fertilise yours?
