Every time I see a pic of Lorraine, I just can’t imagine having to breadboard and wirewrap a whole computer. I recently bought a Parciero memory and SD card expansion device for my A1000. I had a Ricochet a dedicated color Ping gaming system, then upgraded to an Atari 2600 a couple of years later (skipped over a lot of gaming systems), a C64 (pushed for it instead of a VIC-20 or Atari 400) for one Christmas, had a short lived PC compatible time then thankfully I bought two A3000s and an A1000.
Just a correction about Kickstart. Supplied on disk because it wasn't complete when the system was ready to ship, adding the WCS (Write Controlled Store) board (holding Kickstart mage) added expense to the system that was already fighting its price point, shipping at 256 rather than 512K. Unfortunately it also had the effect of driving professional software companies away because it told everyone the system wasn't ready. This is mentioned in Brian Bagnall's book and even and commentaries and Byte magazine going back to 1986.
Made by a previous owner but my guess is it was for a floppy switch to make the first external disk DF0 or maybe a kickstart switch? Glad you liked the video!

Really enjoyed this little bit of computing history in the context of the first Amiga
Glad you enjoyed it

Thanks! Glad you liked it!
Great video! Just curious, what's the round hole near the df0?
