Wow!! Being from the US and not comfortable traveling to some of the places you go, you give me views of countries I otherwise would never see. Thanks for the journey.
Hi Sean, if you ever decide to come back, it would be great to show you some of the hidden treasures that Bosnia and Herzegovina has to offer, Great channel mate! Bests David
I've always thought the same thing about Bosnia and never gave it a thought to learn otherwise. Thanks for this look into these countries from this midwest US gal 😊
Historical fact of why Bosnia has a coastline at all...The Ottoman Empire www.cntraveler.com/story/how-bosnia-ended-up-with-just-12-miles-of-coastline I've been to Bosnia several times; under Tito, after Tito and again after the 1992-95 war...it's a charming country of mixed heritage and if you ever have the chance, go back and see Sarajevo and Mostar 😉😊
One of my physicians is from Bosnia. She is a great lady and therapist. She grew up during the civil war years and then the ethnic cleansing. Her family were Eastern Catholics. That sure is a lovely waterfall park. I was able to find the waterfall area an the town on Google Earth. Very Cool 😎 Shaun, Thanks for sharing, Cheers
I followed that river upstream for 20 mile before I came across a sewerage treatment plan, which means the domestic sewerage of about 15 small towns and villages are running their untreated domestic waste straight into the river, you wouldn't catch me swimming in no rivers, at home or abroad.
Sewage treatment plants usually serve to cleanse any sewage before releasing water into the stream. The one you're talking about (I think) is in Matinjevac, which is part of town of Ljubuski, some 4-5 miles up the stream. They just recently modernized it and it definitely isn't as ominous as you make it sound to be. I think I'd be more concerned if they didn't have any treatment plants releasing everything directly from sewage into the water streams.

Bosnians have good food, at least what I have had. Some of it is a little like greek. If you like gyro, they have their own version. It's very good.
