    I enjoy meditating
I enjoy painting daily as an artist.
    I enjoy photography
    I enjoy working out daily
I enjoy eating well sleeping well.
I enjoy traveling to far places
(But I also enjoy my home-s)
All of these happen often and my focus is simply to enjoy all of these experiences and have so much room for more to learn.
    Thank you Lynette.
I respectfully appreciate. How your wisdom helps in this space. 🙏🏾

No because I’ve been struggling with this lately because I’ve cut spending to save money, eating a lot healthier and being still and I keep thinking I’m bored when really I’m shifting and releasing the bad habits. Your videos are always on timeeeeeeee!!

I can relate to this on a personal level, in the past few months i had been feeling depressed because it seemed like i was living the same day everyday and felt unmotivated and low, then i decided to take pole dance and aerial hammock classes and its been so exciting because not only am I excercizing but learning different skills and my days changed completely! its so important to invest time in yourself, quite literally it makes all the difference in how you feel and view yourself.

Thanks for the vid. I find myself thinking 'I'm bored' and then get drunk/high , then when I'm hungover and stressed in the days after I miss the boredom and realise it was actually peace. Starting to learn the lesson now though x

Needed this. Living in NYC and constantly feeling like I’m not *doing* enough… trying to learn how to balance stillness but also finding ways to creatively improve my life without overconsumption…

One thing I have found joy in is starting my day with making me some sort of tea with whatever herbs and plants I feel called to for the day, paired with a nice 10-15 minute stretch & a nice spliff 😩 as long as I got that everyday I am good. Even if it’s only 15 minutes at least I gave myself something that brings me joy before having to catered to everyone else’s needs. Even throughout the day as things may stir up or trigger me, I still just think back to how I needed this same attention earlier and when I gave myself it, things got a bit easier. So in order to create that balance within my life, things outside of me will need my attention and I have to take the moment to catered to those needs too 💜 Giving to myself first makes me WANT to give to others also ✨

I love this point of conversation. I used to be in a massively go getter energy now that i have reached a certain point in life and now I have sort of decompressed from it all , I am learning to lean into that level of simply being without feeling iffy about it. I am approaching my current paced down phase with less strictness. At the end of a work day, I just try to lean into the stillness.

im so glad you made this video. over the years as i've been healing i've learned to find peace in moments i'd feel "bored." i stopped saying i was bored and replaced it with i'm relaxing. as a photographer and art student, i'm constantly trying to learn ways to enhance my skills and through that i usually learn something new about myself, which helps keep the passion too. there really is a childlike wonder feel when you learn and execute new things. lately i've been finding joy in self care, sometimes self care tasks feel like chores for me so i started finding ways to make them fun and something to really enjoy and be present in.

Love this! Especially what you said about not taking your body for granted. For those of us who’ve experienced an injury or illness that affects our mobility or senses, the act of sitting or standing or walking or even breathing can feel like a treasure.

Most def needed to hear this. I’m really starting to enjoy cleaning and keeping things organized. I’ve mastered keeping my laundry folded 😂. “The closest thing to GOD is cleanliness”. So true. But I’ve noticed a major shift and change just by doing that. Manifesting! Everything you said is so simple but sometimes simple can be hard. But it’s a journey just have to keep moving forward.💜

Lynette you are way ahead of your time. This video was truthful, useful, calm and relaxing. Since you're reading Rick Rubin's A Creative Act I highly recommend getting the audio book and play it in your home. Trust me. Hope you see rhis and anyone reading this comment listen to Rick Rubin's book walking or in your home. Your video had the same vibration.
I'm doing great. I'm in this extremely creative time in my life and look forward to every new day. I have a dynamic duo of joy that I invest in. I'm a writer and I love to take morning walks. I write in ny head as I walk and the final result is my commitment to a monthly walk journal that I publicly share.
I agree what everything you said in this video. Many of my generation (X) didn't grasp this kind of peace until way into our adulthood. In my twenties It was different being alone. Everything was about being around people. You were looked at aa a weird outcast. I'm so glad self love and preservation is being promoted. We all needed a moment of stillness to recharge
Thank you for your gift of quality content.
    P.o.p.

This video literally found me at the right time. I'm definitely someone who has a lot of vata, air energy, so I have to constantly have something I'm looking forward to/new creative hobbies just about every other week because I get bored easily. But now I'm in a season where I'm trying to learn how to find joy and satisfaction in the mundane. This video along with an episode from The Psychology of Your 20s entitled "How to get your spark back" is really helpful for anyone finding themselves restless and bored with their current situation. Much love and keep up the great videos 💛

Definitely what I needed to hear. Yoga and meditation bring me the most peace, but with my long working hours, watching my son, and trying to study for an exam that may result in a career change, leaves me with little time to find peace. I'm often really burned out and stressed out.
I hope you're staying safe out there. NYC has been pretty chaotic from what I've seen in the news.
