Also what i wonder that is the commentator on couch PyramidK? He sounds a lot like him and he is one of the best RE3 runners in existence.

it was aviable from the start in the dreamcast an pc versions of RE:3! on psx you jad to get the boutique key to get it
US release of RE3 had Dino Crisis demo in it and Dino Crisis had RE3 demo in it.
They both was made around the same time.

And then you guys cut him off before the official time is shown and switch it off for half an hour. Way to go, dick move. There's been quite a lot of shoddiness from the crew running SGDQ in hindsight, as I go back through these.

is there any way to manipulate the grenade launcher/magnum pickup?
There is for a Taiwanese PC-version GL mod. (I don't know does it work for another PC-version because i mostly played that version and i watch only Taiwan-runs.)
With the mod you'll get GL every time.
Unfortunately there is no way to manipulate the S.T.A.R.S. room RNG.
The mod is also accepted to speedrun leaderboards because it doesn't affect the gameplay any otherway.
Question: why do speed runs tend to run Japanese versions?
usually, faster writing on screen less time spent waiting for the game to write them down on the screen. Also fewer characters for longer sentences. since the game types them like a typewriter character per character it also decreases a lot of the time the game needs to type them.
I always wondered how they could finished the nemesis faster and now I know they were in easier hard mode because of how much easier it is then the American mode

Yes except the game has a proper GPU to work with on the GC.

If I’m not mistaken, I believe in the STARS office, you get the magnum if you open the locker before the radio call, and the grenade launcher if you open it after.

Enemies is also RNG. There is A LOT RNG to items, enemies, enemypatterns
In RPD, there is couple different patterns where zombies spawn in rooms.
There is item RNG, sometimes you get GL in RPD, sometimes Magnum. Some rooms there might be gun powder or something else.
There is also enemy RNG, some playtroughs some rooms have dogs, sometimes hunters. Sometimes some rooms might have zombies, sometimes dogs.
The game is literal RNG-nightmare for a speedrunner. That's why Orchlons record is still unbeatable. (Atleast it was last time i checked.)

There is a lot of RNG in this run. If you don't get it perfect you won't even come close to WR. You can't expect a perfect run in a marathon.

Why bother fighting Nemesis the first time if he still appears breaking through the window later in the police station?
Dylan Lyons He drops items each time you kill him succesfully during an optional encounter. It starts as a first aid box and ends with an infinite ammo case. Each kill counts towards the chain of drops. Its really interesting.
This is the Nemesis% categorie, meaning you have to kill Nemesis every time you encounter him.
Since they are playing in hard mode , nemesis do drop some items for Jill after every counter, but either way since this run is for them to kill nemesis every time they see him. But yeah, give props for them to fight him in hard mode, it took a while for me but I've been playing this since years and still scares me, that's how scary he is 😂
