I've never seen him stream but just watching him and his personality and behavior, he responds with the donations and reader, while it seems like sometimes the runners are just not paying attention to anyone or saying anything. I get that they're focusing, but it's an event for fun for charity and some just aren't charismatic.
I get that this is a 5y old comment, but I have to say as someone who watches Carci on twitch if I have the chance, he’s a great guy, his twitch chat is super nice too, and if he’s able to he will say hi to you too. Overall a really nice guy!

Loved the stream, streamer, and the guys on the couch. Every one was so cool and casual it made for a really great stream hope to see all these guys again together!
Used this to beat the game in 02:49:00 and got 2 achievements 😀. So if you're looking to beat it in under 3 hours, this was a useful guide as well as a great speed run.

when one of them said capcom was cutting costs when they were composing the remastered music, i was like no way you said that, those were rearrangements of the original soundtrack, i love to hear them again
Im on my knife (only) run and I cant believe that its easy for people to do this. I am right out of the first hour, but its definitely giving me more time with a game that I know backwards to forwards and then back again. I never tried dodging before and its actually a pro skill...I am still learning.
I've done knife only and it was actually quite easy, it was one of my quickest runs as I didn't bother running around picking ammo up etc I could just ignore all of it, the part that gave me most trouble was plant 42
A lot of games essentially run a 'check' for certain things on the frame counts. Like, the game may have a code which runs a check to see if the zombie is close enough to attack, and if it is tied to frames, a higher frame rate means it checks it more frequently. Hopefully I made sense there.

At 20:59 the "mashing" technique Carcinogen does with his thumb and index finger is unique and rare to see. I'm double jointed in my hands and learned to do that form of mashing by a friend that was also double jointed. I've never seen another person do it outside of the two of us.Once mastered you make turbo control functions look like a joke. I'm not sure if it can be done without being double jointed, but it maybe possible.

It's been forever since I played this. What happens in the first minute that he starts in the dining room, then just hammers the button by the entrance door so that the first zombie has already entered the room? I thought you had to go through the end door, go to the end of the hall to trigger the first zombie, then run back?

It took a speed runner over an hour to get to the labs. Imagine how bad it must have been for the employees! These guys would have to go through all that stuff on a daily basis. Need the key? Well, first you need to fight a dog and take it from its collar. Watch out for the statue with spinning blades. No wonder everything fell apart.
Something I really hated from RE is the poison status because you could only heal with the blue herb and even though you could use green but stills it doesn't affects the time for the poison to kill

it's about chance with any situation , like in a mmorpg, rng on loot is about having the good loot the first time means you had a good RNG, or if it take you 15 run and more in a raid to have specific loot , well, it is a bad rng, here bad rng was when zombie give you a hit he dont do 99%of the time, so bad rng.. ;p
They're handy for unfair dodges around zombies, but they also punish people for using them since the transitions between camera angles tends to fuck up the movement. Tank controls for life.
I find them convenient to be honest, tank controls were never my thing. However you can still use them with the Dpad so you get the best of both worlds.
At the end of Super Metroid while you are escaping an exploding planet, you have a chance to enter the room where you got the regular bombs. If you do you will find the animal helpers that demonstrated the wall jump and shine spark. Shoot a wall and they will escape the planet. To save the animals is a speed running meme since saving them does nothing except give you a one pixel different end screen. It's literally nothing but bragging rights.
