I use Zoho Notebook and nothing else by Zoho. It's the closest app to the failing Evernote I've seen. I really like it. Nested folders or collections, email to tasks, drawing app, voice recording, reminders, colored notes, and a nice looking folder interface. Great app
I love the simplicity of Apple Notes, but I hate how stuck in the Apple ecosystem it is. As I recently added a PC I’ve started using Google Keep to quickly jot stuff down. Maybe a pro or con depending on how you look at it, but Google Keep might be too simple. That said, it’s probably one of the best reliable cross platform options available. I love Notion, but I feel like it has too many features for a quick note taking app. I would love to have a single note taking app, but haven’t found one I absolutely love all around. What do you use for personal and business? Was it Apple for personal and Keep for business notes?
I have been using apples inotes for years for my medical notes. My notes are very picture heavy, and lately some of my pictures have been disappearing on what looks like a random pattern. Anyone have had issues like that? Do you have any recommendations for a more reliable app?
I used to use Evernote, but they really hiked their pricing and the lack of the ability to create nested folders is SO limiting.. it drove me a bit crazy that they had this artificial limitation. I moved on to Obsidian, but it also drives me a bit crazy because its lack of features and the use of markdown is SO limiting! I would like to use Google Keep, but Google is the biggest invader of privacy that has ever existed. If privacy doesn't matter to you, then by all means, give all of your private thoughts to Google. I'm sure they won't sell that information to anyone willing to pay for it. Yes, that was sarcasm. I will be checking out Zoho and Bear now. Thanks for the advice!
I am using onenote. But I am thinking about switching over to apple note. I have not a single windows computer anywhere at home. And for the thing I am using onenote, it is simply too much.
The organizational structure of Google Keep is bizarre. It brings me back to the days when English teachers insisted that notecards were the only option for taking notes when writing a paper--something I always disliked. I used to love Evernote and might even be able to stomach the cost IF they'd stop screwing with the UI. All the AI features in the world mean nothing if the interface looks terrible (which the new UI update does). I would like to move to OneNote, but there is no way to import Evernote notes into it, barring copying and pasting everything by hand. Right now, none of the major players has that "it factor" that Evernote used to have.
I just moved all my notebooks complete with notes and attachments out of Evernote into OneNote today so I could safely cancel Evernote with their $167 subscription. I've been using Apple Notes, but I couldn't find a way to import from Evernote, so now I have an archive app in OneNote.
You ranked these apps according to YOUR needs. Apple notes, in my opinion, is an indispensable part of my everyday use. I use it to keep a digital diary. So, for me Apple Notes is numero Uno.
Google Keep is my choice for business. I take my meeting notes with the Apple Pencil. But I find that taking notes with the Apple Pencil in Google Keep is not as smooth as in the Apple Notes app.
That's probably the way to go. What is your experience with regards typing notes in front of a customer. Do you find, their reaction towards someone typing instead of writing is different? @@itGenius_
I was using one note and it was GREAT -- until for some reason -- it can't even load my pages, and right now -- I have nothing. I had years of notes organized in various notebooks. It was awesome, until I could no longer access them for some reason.
I am in the Apple ecosystem for all hardware so using Notes for me makes sense. It has a lot of powerful features and Apple continues to add new functionality. I prefer using one app for particular tasks. That isn’t always possible but for Notes it has worked well for me. For my business suite I use Microsoft but primarily for Excel, Word and PowerPoint. I have G-Suite as well but only use it if I am working with someone that is settled on Google for their ecosystem.
I use Apple Notes. I am trying to stick to the Apple Ecosystem as they keep really improving it. I am retired so typically don't need to share my notes.
Because remaining inside the walled garden of the Apple ecosystem doesn't appeal to the rest of the outside world, most especially those whose work setup is Windows.
Till this day I don’t see anything called notes where I can import my Apple notes. Even google has not managed to create a proper process to migrate the Apple notes to Google pixel. Another reason to just stay with apple or Samsung.

Thanks for sharing! Great tip
The only reason i am hesitant is because when i try to signup, it asks for my mobile number.
I will never trust zoho ever, they blocked my email account once
So I have an iPhone, iPad, and a PC. What note taking app wout you use? I use the pencil in apple notes a lot, and I used to use Evernote. Thoughts??
Microsoft OneNote. Or just buy MacBook :)

Try using Samsung Notes or Zoho Notebook
@@Itsmeiwaleed thanks for the recommendation. I'll look into those options.
I wish Google keep was better. Not enough features.
Totally agree. I know they’ve made some small changes and improvements over the years but it still feels like they never got past version 1
Yeah

Ty. This helped me a lot. Evernote is driving me crazy. I think Google Keep is where I'm going.

Completely agree!
Use Andy Park's tutorials for migrating notes from Evernote to OneNote. You would need the legacy version of Evernote and also a Windows device

Thank you everyone for suggesting Zoho. I simply loved it!!!

Hi, know this put Notion does have the ability to create due dates, time lines and project plans. I've been using all 3 for years!

I agree, even when I used to use a Google pixelbook it wasn’t much better so I’ve trained myself to just type notes these days…

no one expected apple to be #1
LOTS of people use Apple notes

Speak for yourself
what im saying
@@itGenius_yes but no one expects it to be #1.. if you’re using apple notes its because you have never used any other programs for long enough

So which is number 1?
did you watch?
Yeah got it.... I'm just trying to venture away from Google Keep to Zoho for more functionality... Great video and keep up the good work! Thank you!
I don’t know, either and I watched most of the video. Not a fan of this approach.
I use Apple Notes. I am trying to stick to the Apple Ecosystem as they keep really improving it. I am retired so typically don't need to share my notes.
Fair enough
thank you so much ✨

Thank you!

But why no one talks about the refreshing bug of pdf in quick view of files app..?😢
Never heard of it
My daughter also chose Good Notes recently after researching a lot of other note taking apps
Thanks for sharing
How does she like it? I'm starting school in a couple months and I've been looking around for note taking apps.
I like good notes
Any pros and cons for Goodnotes compared to the apps in this video?
why is nobody talking about bear?
Because remaining inside the walled garden of the Apple ecosystem doesn't appeal to the rest of the outside world, most especially those whose work setup is Windows.
I use a macbook and android which the app is simultaneously using both devices.
Have you figured?

Google Docs is what I use as a Note Taking App, that gives much more possibilities as Keep.
Interesting. How’s the organisation?
"Google wouldn't take Keep away"... but they have.
Huh, how?
@@itGenius_ Discontinued Google Keep Chrome app in early 2021. Now only available on the web.,
Try BoardNotes
I think i should switch to one note cause I'm switching to Android
Notability?
