Short answer, all cars pretty much the same, differns only in number of gears and max speed, everything else is the same... (yeah numbers different but most of numbers didn't actually mean anythin) dude you could ask this question if there was any other game with good physics model, FH 4/5, asseto corsa compititione, forza motorsport and others but u talk about crap that has "parts" with fkin grip buff!!! And you need to farm it, it's fkin insane motherfkernes from ubi side...
The problem here is that for the ones who use this trick to farm parts for dragster cars or planes like me are going to be adressed too if they patch this. (Let’s be honest, nobody wants to do the same drag race over and over for set, especially when it only gives you one single part every 3 rounds)

A cap for daily xp to 100000 would be a good start to prevent all the cheating I think, that would annoy the escape feat grinders and make them leave the game. Then they remove the daily xp on the last 2 or 3 days before the end of the month to leave the competition to the remaining ones✌️

Macros are really important for people with accessibility issues. They need to add a cooldown to individual events. reduce rewards for repeating an event within 1 minute.
Yea, just do like some other games does. If you repeat the same thing over and over again you get less rewards, like for 1st run max exp/parts and then it drops to like 1exp at like run 50, and it resets every 24hours.
So everyone else suffers for a very small percentage of people? How about they just fix the exploit instead of wasting people time with time gates. In my opinion this is a horrible suggestion

I think there is alot of things IT never considered would get exploited, like. I feel like the car meet show is sketchy for the fact I spent 2 hours on a livery and didn't even get top 200 but 1-10th were just cars with black out windows. One didn't even have anything on it, it was stock.

The car show isn't IVTs fault though. The generic motorfest player literally have no taste. Just browse the top 100 liveries and see how many of it is just plain colour or black windows
Unfortunately the major issue with this game is Legend Points and Affixes. These do not work in Grand Race, however they do in Summit events. Having Drift multipliers for this week essentially makes it very easy to get 100k+ in Summit Score. The game would be a lot more balanced and fair if neither of these ‘perks’ existed.
Think it should stop you from getting legendary parts too so you can experience the whole game the eay it was intended rather than just one feat over and over again.

It's very simple : With a maxed out XP magnet - Legend 4%, playing 8-10h / day (some people have done that last month), you can get about 500-600 levels / month. Everybody who has several thousands of levels / month is just plain macro / script use. We know it, IVT knows it,.......it's only a matter what they do about it. In the last game (where it was same with these Icon 9999 idiots) they didn't do anything about it. While their own Terms Of Service clearly states the use of macros is NOT allowed in the game. They could easily reset those playerlevels : put them back on level 1, take away their Legendary Points and give them a 4 weeks ban --> that will send out a message to the community and most will stop doing it for sure. Of course, that also means they have to take care of other exploits too : people are also using macros to manual clutch + shift (H-shifter, although they just use the stick on their controller as a shifter, they are not even driving with a wheel) and of course : reset cuts, but that can be solved by disabling "back on track" in Summit events for instance. Many options possible, the real question is what is IVT / UBI gonna do about it ? My guess, probably nothing, cause it's not a priority for them, it never was in TC2.

If you use "back on track", it should put you 20-50m in front of the CP (aka gettting a slight penalty). Making mistakes leads to slower times or lower points, so you don't need that button in Summit events. If you make a mistake, you just retry the event. The back on track / reset button is only there to be abused, which is exactly what people are doing in leaderboard runs or Summit events. You can have fun in this game for sure, but don't take any LB runs or Summit events serious, cause it's all abuse of buttons and use of macros to get fast times or high scores.
you're wrong about the 500/600 levels a month thing. If you farm speedtraps (without macro) you can get anywhere from 10-20 levels an hour (depending on how good/consistent you are). As long as you are willing to melt your brain you can easily get thousands of levels in a month. But I do agree with the back on track in races. That needs to be fixed asap.
For my opinion ur right but with XP only cuz at my point i am new to the game and dont have any cars and cant import any, and so it takes hours to get just a couple of cars and then grind parts so i can start fighting with other players

I feel like its always like this in all racing games. Leaderboards in the wild are almost always just exploited. Forza for instance, all the speed trap leaderboards are insane speeds no "real" racer would ever be able to get close to. Such a shame, I would love to compete, but I wanna compete in racing, not exploiting.

Here I thought they fixed these XP exploits by introducing the 30 minute cooldown for rewards on each feats but today (As of March 25, 2024 weeks after the Hoonigans update) there are still hundreds of players doing XP exploits. It always the same players (Ivory Tower never bans them) that are always on the Top leaderboards (Rank): TTVMusic_Maker (Needs to be permentaly banned). This player still managed to get over 100 million xp for Top Leaderboard for the month March despite these cooldowns features. HOW?!!!!!

the people that script are actually using speedtraps which are easier and give more xp than escapes but even if ubisoft doesnt have actual proof of people using scripts, they should use some common sense. the highest level someone can reasonably reach by manually playing the game is around 1000-1500 so anyone above that range should have their level reset unless they can somehow prove they decided to grind like a maniac legit
I know the spot that is being done I’ve seen it. I use that spot but the opposite direction doing it the normal way to get gold parts on my dragster it’s the easiest spots for that. With that being said, I noticed sometimes you’ll have a head on collision multiple times with somebody doing the trick and it really screwed it up to the point where I’ve seen people leave or I guess it just messes up their system don’t know. I just noticed all of a sudden the car that was doing it is gone.
Besides the hall of fame thing, I don’t see anything wrong with these methods. I didn’t play any crew games until TCM and since u can transfer ur cars, this seems to be the fastest way to catch up to those experienced players with cooler/better cars. If anything the hall or fame shouldn’t be tied to xp gained but instead to pvp placings, whether it be grand races, demolitions or summits.
more exp u get form using macro on speed trap, there is bug when u open menu in right time u dont need to skip rewards, just rewind and this is all, but like u say it's boring and becose of that i dont use this ;p
They need to make the gate random or two different points that alternate. So the rewind will have to be longer or shorter depending on where the gate is. Same with the falling into speed traps.
They will just choose to longest route and will keep makro the feat. You can only give the gates a kind of couldown where you cant earn bucks or XP after completing it one time. And after that ket the player wait for like 5 minutes. And make the reward based on the speed points or whatever
Just auto Abort any Feat you're doing when you hit the Rewind. So you won't get anything out of turning back time constantly. But then I'd also say they need to do something about part drops, because jesus christ this shit is a grind fest. I do the Speedtrap and Escape things for parts and quick money. Otherwise it'd all just take absurdly long, aside from the fact it's all RNG too.
Meanwhile I've not even gotten 1 legend rank this month because replaying the same events over and over or grinding feats is less entertaining than playing literally anything else. I just do the summit stuff and log back out.

There is a easy fix actually, they need to put some kind of timer or something like that before u can redo the same event, or something like u need to play a new one in order to redo the one before, there is a lot of things that can stop this kind of Macros making in more boaring to do or more time consuming so at that point it's not gonna be worth it anymore
I think the solution to this is to eliminate the explore section of the xp for legend levels. Only count revisit and competition. This would make it so when someone plays races of any kind, they get legend xp and when someone complete feats and open world activities they get parts and money. Maybe just leave the photo ops with xp because they are limited.

I think that the simplest fix would be to disable rewind for 3 minutes from the moment you start a feat and put a 5 minute cooldown on all feats of the same category after doing said same category 3 times under 2 minutes

I'm actually sitting there playing the game though. They are using a third party software, pressing a button and walking away from their computer. So tbh no I don't think its harsh at all. Its completely cheating not just exploiting a game mechanic.

there is a more efficent way for xp. go to the Mauna Pele Red Hill speedtrap near the volcano. take plane instead of a car and then rewind or make a makro that smashing the restart button. 24/7 xp auto farm. thats the real fastest way, even without using the weekly xp boost cars. this is the way of the "top players"
I say just do thr easiest thing and ban all pc players since theyre clearly the only ones exploiting this. Need proof look at all the top scores and time fir each race, event, summit, you name it.

I have to agree with you and I play mostly The Crew games. Not much going around in free roam. Wish there was mid/heavy traffic like Horizon Games or GTA games. Even The Crew 2 had better free roam experience than Motorfest. Hopefully future updates can make it better but I highly doubt they even care about traffic.

They have compoletely reset the leaderboards in tc2 before, so its possible for them to do it again.

Its quite clear that it is an unachievable score. So ubisoft just has to delete any account over 90 mil. Its standard math, based on available tasks.

Totally agree with you, cause thats not racing, thats cheating and reset button should be locked all the time during races.

I feel like its always like this in all racing games. Leaderboards in the wild are almost always just exploited. Forza for instance, all the speed trap leaderboards are insane speeds no "real" racer would ever be able to get close to. Such a shame, I would love to compete, but I wanna compete in racing, not exploiting.
Just remove rewind from events and do reset only. Issue fixed.
@@MassimoVilla No it doesn't. As soon as you complete the objective you can hit rewind and you will travel backwards and hit the red circle and get feat rewards.
Here I thought they fixed these XP exploits by introducing the 30 minute cooldown for rewards on each feats but today (As of March 25, 2024 weeks after the Hoonigans update) there are still hundreds of players doing XP exploits. It always the same players (Ivory Tower never bans them) that are always on the Top leaderboards (Rank): TTVMusic_Maker (Needs to be permentaly banned). This player still managed to get over 100 million xp for Top Leaderboard for the month March despite these cooldowns features. HOW?!!!!!
I mean if you wanna talk exploits , all these cuts to resets are SO CHEESY. Its the same principle of CHEESE. They will just start patching stuff, watch

There appears to be a lot of glitches, I’ve seen a lot of people getting unobtainable records in escapes
I was thinking.. make the skip button not an option after the event.. that'll screw up the timing needed for the whole thing.
the people that script are actually using speedtraps which are easier and give more xp than escapes but even if ubisoft doesnt have actual proof of people using scripts, they should use some common sense. the highest level someone can reasonably reach by manually playing the game is around 1000-1500 so anyone above that range should have their level reset unless they can somehow prove they decided to grind like a maniac legit

I know the spot that is being done I’ve seen it. I use that spot but the opposite direction doing it the normal way to get gold parts on my dragster it’s the easiest spots for that. With that being said, I noticed sometimes you’ll have a head on collision multiple times with somebody doing the trick and it really screwed it up to the point where I’ve seen people leave or I guess it just messes up their system don’t know. I just noticed all of a sudden the car that was doing it is gone.
He opposite direction is slightly slower because it's uphill, that's why most people go downhill

Resetting the car after a checkpoint is also an exploit, but most players do it to get a better score.

Besides the hall of fame thing, I don’t see anything wrong with these methods. I didn’t play any crew games until TCM and since u can transfer ur cars, this seems to be the fastest way to catch up to those experienced players with cooler/better cars. If anything the hall or fame shouldn’t be tied to xp gained but instead to pvp placings, whether it be grand races, demolitions or summits.
I was always told that cheats never prosper. That's probably after 4 weeks I am level 20 have under 2 million bucks and not much xp.
more exp u get form using macro on speed trap, there is bug when u open menu in right time u dont need to skip rewards, just rewind and this is all, but like u say it's boring and becose of that i dont use this ;p
They need to find out logical numbers and erase all the farming names from the boards. i can only imagine how many legend points they have.

They need to make the gate random or two different points that alternate. So the rewind will have to be longer or shorter depending on where the gate is. Same with the falling into speed traps.
They will just choose to longest route and will keep makro the feat. You can only give the gates a kind of couldown where you cant earn bucks or XP after completing it one time. And after that ket the player wait for like 5 minutes. And make the reward based on the speed points or whatever

Just auto Abort any Feat you're doing when you hit the Rewind. So you won't get anything out of turning back time constantly. But then I'd also say they need to do something about part drops, because jesus christ this shit is a grind fest. I do the Speedtrap and Escape things for parts and quick money. Otherwise it'd all just take absurdly long, aside from the fact it's all RNG too.
Yeah I have no issue with the escape and speed trap methods…my issue is with the people using third party software to make their game play itself.

Meanwhile I've not even gotten 1 legend rank this month because replaying the same events over and over or grinding feats is less entertaining than playing literally anything else. I just do the summit stuff and log back out.

Bro that’s their business, they’re not getting no advantageous benefits n not having fun so it is what it is… Legend points max out a 1000…. Probably would’ve cared a little if u got like a lot of crew credits for getting the number 1 spot or top 10….
There is a easy fix actually, they need to put some kind of timer or something like that before u can redo the same event, or something like u need to play a new one in order to redo the one before, there is a lot of things that can stop this kind of Macros making in more boaring to do or more time consuming so at that point it's not gonna be worth it anymore
I think the solution to this is to eliminate the explore section of the xp for legend levels. Only count revisit and competition. This would make it so when someone plays races of any kind, they get legend xp and when someone complete feats and open world activities they get parts and money. Maybe just leave the photo ops with xp because they are limited.
Macros isn’t cheating. If they didn’t like it don’t make it cross play in the first place lol

they can do something about it by banning them players its easy for the amount of XP they gain by how many days its been so i sort of worked it out just depending on what escape they are doing and plus im no maths expert so it sort of shows me people actually playing and doing the same thing day, night,day,night,day night without any breaks or even sleep,and technical they are its called exploiting the game and people get banned on other games because of that
I agree im lvl 120 or so and got like 12-13 mill xp ranked in the 1800 those guys on top using macros and turbo pads are ruing the game for ppl like us trying to set records
This is why i never thought much of the HOF to begin with there's always a hundred sweaty fcks with no morales who's just gonna eradicate all prestige in it. And it's also why I fcking HATE crossplay with PC it's the worst shitty thing any dev can put in a game.
I think that the simplest fix would be to disable rewind for 3 minutes from the moment you start a feat and put a 5 minute cooldown on all feats of the same category after doing said same category 3 times under 2 minutes
Huh?! Nothing they can do about it? After the freemode event is completed, it should disappear or turn off for 20-30 minutes, Making it pointless to XP/Part farm...

I'm actually sitting there playing the game though. They are using a third party software, pressing a button and walking away from their computer. So tbh no I don't think its harsh at all. Its completely cheating not just exploiting a game mechanic.

This game looks a lot dead to me, unlike Forza which has a kind of lively atmosphere.
I have to agree with you and I play mostly The Crew games. Not much going around in free roam. Wish there was mid/heavy traffic like Horizon Games or GTA games. Even The Crew 2 had better free roam experience than Motorfest. Hopefully future updates can make it better but I highly doubt they even care about traffic.
Both are just as boring when free roaming to be completely honest
