New York Post (I know bad reference, but only real estimate I could get) reports anywhere from 50-500 staffers are hired for each concert. Let's say we hire 250 people for every concert for all 146 shows (personally believe this is about right) that leads us to 36,500 people hired. Now let's split that 55 million dollar bonus between just the staffers nobody else. Staffers don't include backup dancers, sound crew, or anything similar to that. That means we have the average person being given just $1500. It's a nice bonus, but is it really as good of a bonus as you thought it was? Why do we allow the rich to get richer and why don't we force them to pay their employees a livable wage. It's also important to note that all of what I said doesn't even include the people who are working every single show like the truckers. I read those people got the majority of the bonus, but that just means the short term employees got paid close to minimum wage then got probably $200 then didn't have a job anymore.

I live in Seattle and me and my family were invited to some dinner with friend the night of her concert and we’re were like hell no. We ain’t driving in that traffic we doing family movie night. Our house was legit shaking.
When you consider thay a little over 5,000 feet is a mile away it's pretty considerable. Especially as al they would get is tbe vibration and general Roar/bass.... nothing fun from the concert. But still. It's 1 night. Put earbuds in and just suck it up

Starting a concert earlier like that really doesn't work for one important reason: people work. If you start a concert too early in the afternoon, people won't have time to get home from work and then to the venue. Especially if they don't live close to the venue. Which would lead to loss in ticket sales.

I worked at the stadium during her Sofi concerts, and yeah, you’ll never ever hear anything louder in your life than the moment she appears on stage. It’s deafening, it’s unreal, you can hear it for practically miles.
I went to her SoFi concert and the moment she appeared, it was so loud that all the noises started meshing together and it sounded like one person just screaming directly into my ear

The fans are loud. Even when the performance is over, 70,000 fans are talking. Them talking alone is insanely loud. Taylor’s concert makes it even louder. What they should do is lower the capacity of fans for the concert. These homeowners have been here before the stadium was made for performances.

Usually the houses near stadiums are cheep and easier to buy (usually council or government owned) so it is better to live in them. Starting a concert earlier like that really doesn't work for one important reason: people work.
If you start a concert too early in the afternoon, people won't have time to get home from work and then to the venue. Especially if they don't live close to the venue.
Which would lead to loss in ticket sales.

It's not ridiculous if you can't sleep or function properly. Cause there's a people screaming, I'm on my way. We're, like, a far distance, and you can hear them clearly. Valid reason, I know how horrible it is to have someone blast music constantly while you’re trying to sleep, I live near a place where parties are held pretty often, it’s horrible, sometimes it’s even in weekdays and when I have to go to school I don’t get a blink of sleep, and that’s just a party, now imagine a goddamn concert, which is already deafening when you’re at the concert, near your house.
Then move😂 She’s not the first nor the last person to hold concerts there. There are also sporting events that are very loud in stadiums & if you can’t take it, MOVE.

Usually the houses near stadiums are cheep and easier to buy (usually council or government owned) so it is better to live in them. We cannot just tell those people to move out of a house where inflation could make it more difficult to find a house in your budget and also, IT IS YOUR HOUSE, not some sort of toy you can replace every second when an inconvenience arises.

I had a audition just a few days ago and I really needed lots of peaceful time to concentrate on practicing. If there was a group like that near me, I’d be pretty pissed off too. I would say that it should be used as a valid excuse to come in late anywhere the next day without penalty. Ik it's probably not, but if it's this big an issue, loud/large, _planned_ concerts in general should be a permissible excuse in this city.

Stuff like this has happened to me before, like a firework show after a baseball game that didn’t start till 2am and rattled our windows. If they do it at a reasonable hour it’s fine, but as soon as it starts interrupting the sleep for multiple neighborhoods around it, it’s a problem

It sounds simple but now you have to pay for a bike, get up earlier, etc And the issue of the traffic isnt adressed.
