I needed this! I was emotionally hurt by the actions of a family member many years ago. They passed away this week and I was not able to open my heart fully to forgive them before her passing. I know that the forgiveness is all on me. I also know that God is with me. He has shown me in so many ways. So I will try to let go of my grudges and learn to forgive. ❤When my Daddy passed in 1993 2and 1/2 months after my son was born.When he died at his wake they opened the whole first floor of funeral home for him as there was standing room only and he was great friends with the owner of the funeral home who was in Florida at the time and he called me at the wake and I spoke to both him and his wife both.They said if they could be there they would but had given instructions to make sure EVE RYTHING was taken care of.I have tried so hard to emulate his life, as there was standing room only and too many lights in the funeral to count.But today Dear Lord is not like then.This song has had me crying since I got a post to listen to it yesterday! My mom passed this year, not long after this song released. It was on the radio during my countless hospital drives, and a comfort after she finally left us. Her service was full to the brim with people whose lives she'd touched, and barely anyone was sitting. She was a hell of a lady. 65 years was too damn short, but she packed some living in those years, for sure.

So now that I'm an adult with my own family, it's pretty damn amazing that I still get to share that same comforting feeling that comes from your music, and other country singers as well, in a positive environment with my own daughter who thankfully won't have to feel that way ever, and although I didn't grow up in the greatest home, I'm thankful for the little things that shaped me, even when its something that seems so simple & small to others (like a song). This song hits me just like Live Like You Were Dying. Cancer hit me back in 96 and every time I hear Live Like You were Dying, it brings me to tears. Then came My Little Girl. My daughter has some of the lyrics tattooed on her side and it was our father/daughter dance at her wedding. Now, Standing Room Only hits home again. I try to live my life by living, helping, forgiving, and loving the best I can. Most of Tim's songs resonate with me and would love to be able to see him in concert one day, but not many concerts come to Montgomery, Al.
I was mixing a batch of dairy cow feed this morning and this came on in my loader cab my wife and I just lost our second son before he was born and this one got me I cranked it we are very humble and have a small dairy farm and his loss is the hardest thing we ever felt but through the pain we are so thankful that our son is with God's son and we will see him someday again through it all the entire community has rallied to help us get the work done on the farm and have come in supportvof our little family we are burying him tomorrow and he may have been here for one day but I hope his funeral is beautiful because he really did live like the wall on the clock never owned him. My goal is to create a premiere lifted truck show event. This year's show purse is $300K, a female and family-friendly event, concerts Friday and Saturday nights. They flooded that church, and wrapped around to the rear parking lot. We had to cut off the line, which didn't sit well with me. Love the song. My daughter has some of the lyrics tattooed on her side and it was our father/daughter dance at her wedding. Now, Standing Room Only hits home again. I try to live my life by living, helping, forgiving, and loving the best I can. Most of Tim's songs resonate with me and would love to be able to see him in concert one day, but not many concerts come to Montgomery, Al.

I was mixing a batch of dairy cow feed this morning and this came on in my loader cab my wife and I just lost our second son before he was born and this one got me I cranked it we are very humble and have a small dairy farm and his loss is the hardest thing we ever felt but through the pain we are so thankful that our son is with God's son and we will see him someday again through it all the entire community has rallied to help us get the work done on the farm and have come in supportvof our little family we are burying him tomorrow and he may have been here for one day but I hope his funeral is beautiful because he really did live like the wall on the clock never owned him.
