You guys do a great job with your videos. I love the information the telemetry provides. Especially worth mentioning is that most of the video is from Brenda's bike cam, which is stable and comfortable to watch. Dave's helmet cam is less stable but surely provides plenty of valuable views left and right. I commend you both for the fantastic video and audio quality, and the narrations. We are regular viewers of your channel. Thank you so much!
Please consider making more videos like this. I love to play these trail videos while running on my treadmill and while I'm working. It's fun to have a trail video of the place I want to retire. :)
We have the brand Rad City E-bikes. Love them! One reason to move here is so we can ride them more. In fact, we bought a home here in Citrus Grove 6 days ago! Maybe you will buy some too and will see you two on the bike trails!!
Hi Dave and Brenda! We did this a few months back after seeing them on the other You Tube video. It was a blast, and we actually went ahead and bought these Ride 1 up bikes with the 700 series, but never knew about the QR code for VillageBikeRent. They were amazing and very professional and reasonable to rent. We did a three day package, they dropped off and picked up, and I would definitely recommend the rental for anyone considering an e bike. I would be interested in your technology to connect thru earbuds. We bought Bluetooth helmets which were shown to us by other e bike users and they allow us to communicate and “bike together” and carry on a conversation. Nice if one of you likes to go a bit faster than the other. We also did these paths last time we were there, the e bike really lets you go out without concern for how far you go, and lets you go many places hard to access on golf cart. I assembled bikes myself, not too hard, but like the maintenance package idea.Keep up with the great videos, we really enjoy your channel. Thanks Keith and Liz
They were definitely a lot of fun! The helmet solution you mentioned for communicating is probably a better solution than what we did. We were just using a phone call between us with apple airpods (wireless Bluetooth for I-phone). Airpods have a transparency mode that will allow outside sound to pass through so you can hear what is happening around you while you are on the phone. Our Airpod solution was far from perfect when we passed through tunnels. We experienced dropped calls which require us to pull over and reconnect our phone call. In the case of this one video our airpod solution was good enough for the day, but I wouldn't recommend airpods for day to day use while biking. Thanks for watching!
You guys are amazing. Your videos are high quality and very informative. We are interested in purchasing in the Citrus Grove or St Catherine villages. I totally loved taking this ride with the 2 of you. I was excited to hear you say that they are still building in St Catherine. Thank you Dave and Brenda! Y'all are much appreciated! 🚴♂️🚴♀️
Thank you so much for all the time and effort you put into your videos. It is much appreciated. Unfortunately the current market conditions are pricing me out of the villages. Hopefully the upcoming pre fab homes will be more affordable. Until then I will continue to look forward to your videos
Dave & Brenda, once again thanks for these wonderful videos. I would like to ask a favor. Dave, you mentioned in the video that you and Brenda were using your phones to hear each other speaking so you did not have to yell at each other about approaching traffic or any other instance that comes up while biking. Do you have a website or anything else that you could refer me to that would explain how one goes about setting this up? My wife and I love to ride bikes and it is always a pain trying to talk to each other while riding. I understand that you guys are very busy but any insight or info would be greatly appreciated. Keep up the great work. Hopefully we will be neighbors in a couple of years. Jim
We generally don't ride bikes but wanted to try the e-bikes. We didn't have anything fancy to use for communicating. All we did was call cell phone to cell phone just like I was calling Brenda from work. Each of us have Bluetooth airpods for our phones so we used them so our phones would be hands free and the phones could stay in our pockets. For safety reasons we each only used one of our airpod earpieces so we could hear other things around us like car horns or people passing by. After we did this video someone mentioned in a comment that there are communications devices made specific for bikes that are attached to bike helmets. We didn't look into that any further since we generally do not use bikes very often. Hope that helps!
@@ExploringTheVillagesFlorida If figures that it is that simple and I was way over thinking it. Thank you so much for taking the time to that. You guys Rock!
Dave & Brenda, Nicely done.. JoAnn and I will be back down first 2 weeks in Dec. Hopefully they'll be working their way back west to Brownwood. ( TV of St. Johns & Richmond ). Thanks for keeping us updated..
The pace seems to have picked up in St. Johns and Richmond. A few weeks ago I would have said they were not going to be ready to build homes by December, but if they keep this pace they will be ready. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the bike ride, those Ride1Up bikes look like a blast. I have a Townie bike so the Ride1Up would be a huge upgrade. I would love to try one of those out. I hope you do another bike ride, the villages is so beautiful.
@@ExploringTheVillagesFlorida - this would be great to rent! I am a cyclist and there's a growing popular trend here in Minnesota but the nearest shop to rent one to check them out is 40 miles away! Pah!

Those look like so much fun! I wonder if they will become more and more popular in The Villages. I love the golf cars, but these would be healthier.
I'm moving out to the Villages in a few weeks. I love cycling so I'm glad to see there are plenty of bike paths out there. Great video!
Lots of bike paths in the southern section. Still plenty in the northern parts also, just a little less. You will love it here!

That is awesome! Congratulations on your new home!
That was a lot of fun, thank you both. Those bikes look very useful for us. We agree with other comments, very professional production. 👍
Thank you!

I believe they’re going to put an actual old boxcar between the stage and the multimodal path, on the concrete pad that you passed.
That will be very cool!
How did you resist not pushing higher speeds 😋
