    Great video Ryan... I too have the Ciro 3d bag extenders and filler lights. I added them a couple months ago and really love them. As soon as I bought my 2017 Road Glide I swapped out the OEM running/brake lights with custom dynamics LED lights which made a big difference but it still left me with only two small tail lights. I later added the bag extenders and filler lights to make the bike even more visible. I went with Ciro 3D because aside from function, I think they are the best looking option. The bag extenders are sleek and the LED strip looks great and The filler lights actually complete the flow of the fender fascia. Plus as seen in your videos they are so easy to install.
    One thing I did when I installed the filler lights was after cleaning the fender fascia, I sprayed it with a mixture of water, soap and rubbing alcohol (just like when putting graphic kits on a dirt bike or the 3m clear protective film) that way I could slide the filler lights into the correct position before the 3m tape stuck.... It set in place within 10 seconds but gave me the ability to make sure it was straight and they made a solid bond.
    I'm glad you showed the custom dynamics modulator. I've been wondering if they would work with the Ciro 3d lights, so thanks. I also appreciate how you show the various ways to plug the modulator to control specific lights I never thought of breaking the lights up like that. Now if Harley would only supply a dedicated space under the seat where we could neatly fit all the couplers and modulators life would be great. I have a Corbin Solo seat and it isn't as giving at the stock seat so I've had to be creative to make sure all the wire harnesses fit.

      I also added custom dynamics Tri Bar brake/running light.. like all the rest of their stuff it was an easy plug and play install and makes the rear fender light a brake light as well.

      Thank you for sharing the info on the mixture. Is there a formula you use for the mixture?

      Yah, many bikers don't get second chance if you get rear ended.

      the best part is they don't just add extra light, they look good and fit as if they came with the bike

    Hey Ryan, the splitters you say come with these.......well they're no splitters in either the bag blade box or filler panel box. Ciro calls them Y connectors.

    Great video!! Have any pics of how you secured and laid all of the connectors under the seat?

    I'm surprised in a way that the lights that attach to the bags underneath the lid don't have a connector that can be easily detached so that saddle bag removal would be easy. The way it is now, if you want to take the saddle bags off you have to disconnect all the wiring. Could be a simple improvement that might help the sale of these lights. Unless they have them and I didn't see it.

    I have a 2020 street glide with custom dynamic led turn/brake lights powered by a magic strobe module. I just bought the ciro 3d panel filler lights but the ciro tech said the ciro lights are not compatible with the strobe which contradicts this video ? Which is it?

    why is the control box necessary ? I have installed Harley bag blades and it came with a control box , but I have installed a tour Pak that comes with lower side LEDs and wonder if they should be spliced before the box or after . They have just a ground and high and low . They come with no instructions of course . 2017 Street glide Special . Thanks !

    Ok so how do you fix or replace if after your warranty expires in 3 years without that sticky tape pulling the paint off your bike?

    After installing all that stuff, did the seat for back down okay?

  • @aviaator
    @aviaator 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    This is a serious question - not trying to troll - what do you do with that rats nest of wiring under the seat? It must be shoved somewhere or the seat won’t go back on properly? Thanks for the vid.

      Actually, it all fits fine. Really, we just bundle it up and the seat goes on fine.
