the speed racer at the end, and the school bus were my favorites... that bus is sick.. i dont know if that's bought that way, or built, but that was a damn sweet rc..

@Shade13Films Sealed bearings are available. They cost more, but are worth it. otherwise, just a good cleaning when done.

@rcisepic Why wait till' you are older? I started flying rc-planes when i was about 8, and started with the rc-cars when i was 10 =) just do it! you won't regret it!

Some of the best rc muddin ive seen on you tube i want to make my rock crawler to get movin that fast just for the mud ive got a maxstone 10, I know crawlers are supposed to be slow but does anyone think it would hurt it if i put a bigger gear in it

Easily.
haha. Waterproof servos, sealed receiver boxes, nimh batteries or use balloons for your lipo and make sure the speed control is in a water tight housing like a small plastic box that is siliconed closed and sealed. Then brushed motors can run under water. Or basically some of the same things used to seal rc boats electronics.
Big truck makes tire tracks. Little truck muds in them. :)
@DDKFILMS My friends werent into RC, until I brought some of my 1/32 carpet racers over, and now they cant get enough of it. Of course, they cant buy their own, but they always play with mine whenever I see them.

start with an SCX10 Trail Honcho Kit from axial...then stick about 500 dollars into customizing it:) But they are 1/10 scale Rc trucks:)

i always love to watch your video's the are informative and entertaining at the same time. i have a question though. can you tell me how you protect your brushed motors against the thick mud? i know how to waterproof the other electronics but i guess you will not close the vent openings of the motor and declare it "water and mud proof" it will hold the sand grains out but water will still enter. normally i drive the motors unprotected in clean water. but after closing them they can't
the ford didnt get stuck but the chevy did lmao !!!

@ztwntyn8 Just about everything is available waterproof now. Plenty of basic ready to run kits have it. And then there is the specialist gear. Haha! I was running a new brushless set-up at a rainy track meet. There was so much mud and my fat 1/8th truggy tires were so heavily mudded that the drive hexes stripped out on the rear wheels! The motor was fine, and the ESC was well protected.
@DDKFILMS My friends aren't into RC. I say that we could go drive my RCs and they would rather just sit around wondering what we should do.
What are some good mudding rigs?

where can you get the school bus body at?
what kind of rc truck would you suggest to do both mudding and rock climbing?
@Benjamin450 i think you need only 2 things..A TON of water and a natural terrain field :D
hey Medic after watching you videos I had to go out and buy a crawler. I ordered the Axial SCX10 and also ordered Velineon Brushless Power System Waterproof:1/10 and I was just curious if you knew if that is an easy install? Either way I am stoked!
