'Not Large Sections' of an Aircraft Visible Inside the Pentagon Following the Attack There on 9/11

Chief Edward Plaugher of the Arlington County Fire Department reveals that no large pieces of the Boeing 757 that supposedly crashed into the Pentagon on September 11, 2001, have been discovered in the wreckage of the building. During a Department of Defense news briefing at the Pentagon on September 12, 2001, after being questioned about the extent of the damage to the Pentagon, Plaugher is asked, "Is there anything left of the aircraft at all?" He replies, "There are some small pieces of aircraft visible from the interior." However, he says, there are "not large sections" of an aircraft inside the damaged building. "In other words, there's no fuselage sections and that sort of thing," he adds.
