yeah the 03's have surprisingly good low end for a 6.5" woofer. it doesn't go down too far but its extremely tight all the way down to where it goes. been using them for a couple weeks now
Anyone else finding the bass overpowering on these? Might be my room. I wish they included an EQ on the back like every other monitor in this price range :/
@@LaythOfficial I don’t. Especially coming from a setup with a sub. If I walk away from my listening spot, the bass can get heavier. It could possibly be your room but I’m not 100% sure.
@@LaythOfficial 99% chance it's your room. Doesnt matter how good your speakers are, if the room isn't treated right any speaker will sound bad. If a room is just too small it'll be hard to fix. Time to youtube acoustic treatment DIY
@@JakeLewisReal I already have my room treated but it’s become apparent to me that the bass treatment I have is insufficient. I’m looking into broadband solutions from GIK Accoustics. Thanks for the quick response guys! Love the audio community. If you guys have any recommendations please let me know!
I have thought about it but I would prefer the a barefoot sub with barefoot monitors in order to get the full effect. Just can’t afford that type of setup currently
It's not surprising to me that they are experiencing some issues with noise due to that emulation factor. It's strange that these new models are even having that problem because their flagship models have used the same technology for years. They must have switched over to cheaper components for these new models, but at the risk of changing the quality of the product range.
I'm 8 days late, but I'm curious to know what are your updated thoughts on this monitor set up. My feeling is you liked them or at least wanted to like them but you weren't completely sold or blown away yet. Have your thoughts or feelings changed since then?
I actually love them. I’ve grown to appreciate the low end on them. This is my first set of 3way monitors and I’m impressed. I can hear so much in the mix. I am keeping them!

There is the option to finance at around $100-150/month if you are comfortable with that. It's not always the best option, but that's how I attained most of my studio gear. I have a very secure job, too, though.

Adam Audio A8H or A77H. Both 3-way designs and crazy bass. Same price range.
