This is an excellent set of advice. 1: Manage your turn order 2: keep your board play flexible (corollary to rule 1) 3: Control resource purchases - always be aware of how the price of resources will affect your cash 4: don't churn powerplants.5: keep an eye on the end game
I'd add to this: Fight like hell for game ending plants. I've seen seen the 20 & 25 plants comes out early and they should go for over 40 in the 3rd or 4th round. The real brilliance of the game comes from knowing when to break these rules. The key to winning PG comes from when to know how to break these rules. If you're not winning, you need to change the dynamic - this usually happens in the PP auction. If the market is stalled and you're behind in production - buy the cheapest plant to get the market moving. This is the opposite of what your intuition might tell you but the Step 2 stall only helps the most leading player. Force the game to progress _now_ so that you don't get further behind. Injecting chaos into the market can only improve your options if you're not winning. I can't tell you how many time I've been trailing before step 2 and bought the 8 plant from the bottom of the market, hoarded coal, forced out a new set of plants and then gone on to win. Lastly, when you're ahead in production in Step 2 - race for the end game. It's surprising how many times I've been producing 15 and ended the game at because everyone else plays timidly and I simply out produced them

3:00 lol love the zoom up with evil expression there
these are overall great 5 tips, especially #1, calculating how much money you need for production, BEFORE purchasing a power plant

    Thx for the tips!
    Additionally:
    - Look at the combinations of cities you can power with your power plants. Having all plants that fire an equal number of plant, when you have an odd number is suboptimal. Look for many ways out.
-@tip 4: Endgame revolves at around 17 cities, you can have max 3 plants, so indeed plants that fire 5, 6 cities are endgame.
    Basics:
    - if market is low, stock up on resources, to sabotage other players, but also to foresee market changes
    - plants that use various resources could give you multiple ways out
    - try to go for plants with complementary resources than other players

Though most of the advice is pretty good I would probably say that the #1 rule may have some issues. Usually trying to play chicken with someone on the auction backfires on more people than helps. Though I would also include that for the most part green energy is a trap though some maps its not a bad route to at least splash in. Some 'sabotage' isn't bad but usually its more to further your own goals as compared to simply screwing others unless your looking at the end game and can do something that makes them not able to power everything.
