This song makes me think. The good times, and also bad times. It's a beautiful song. I don't really get to see my mom and my life isn't perfect, and this song made me burst into tears. I think of the golden days of when I was young and lived care free. Now I get hit by reality everyday. Just like most of us. And this one specific song, takes me back. Like I've entered a time machine and I'm 6 again I'm laying on my moms arm as she scratches my back to sleep. How I miss it

I heard this song playing in my music class in 3rd period this morning. The teacher had it on radio. I tried to hold back the tears when I heard it. =( it is a very touchy song because it talks about love and that you should be grateful! Hallelujah means "Thank the lord!" Love him with all your heart! In Ephesians 6:7-8, it states, "Don't just do what you have to do to get by, but work heartily, as Christ's servants doing what God wants you to do." We should be grateful, not hateful! Why are we made this way? Why are we mean? When I had church last night, it changed my life: today when I witnessed my brother being pushed around and ending up in the middle of the bus line, when he was first in line, a 7th grader pushed him very hard on purpose, not enough to make him fall, but enough to,make me say, "Why would you do that????" after she told my brother, "Who do you think you is?" IS, I mean, come on!!!! Then she said, "He was pushing!" Well, apparently he was the first one being pushed around by everybody, and then I said, "Well you didn't have to do that!" I, to be honest, never really put so much force into what I see! Words just came out! I never really stand up for myself much, but I should. It was my worst nightmare ever that me stand up for him (I wouldn't really do it with hundreds of people out in the bus line, but the nightmare changed it all). This is the story of the nightmare I had about a week or 2 ago: There were people who had the choice to take any amount of random people, and put them in a truck, tie them up, and kill them (Sort of like we are living in a government with dictatorship, except the king, queens, etc. and the part where the ruler kills people who disagree on something that the government agrees on: just a big group of people who are killing random people for no reason). Well, they got my brother.... =( This dream made me care about him more, because no one lives forever! HALLELUJAH!!!!! Thank you, lord!!!!! Oh, and that situation in the bus line almost made me cry. I care, and I changed!
My mom used to work as a janitor in DreamWorks. I remember when they first started working on this film. I was about 14 years old. She would sneak me in and I would see all the story boards, drawings, toys models. I never got a chance to see how it was done but sure looked like a fun job to work at. Everytime I listen to this song it brings a nostalgia feeling when I was younger. good old days :)
It is religious, they mention sex a bit because the song uses references from the bible to describe a relationship gone wrong. The question is, what is it about religious songs that offend you so much? I guess because they get into faith which not as many have or can pay attention to without making jokes.
