Dave was eight years old when his mum was diagnosed with MS: “Within two years Mum was in a wheelchair and Dad and I became full-time carers. It was hard going. Back then there was hardly any support or respite for people affected by MS. But I do remember the MS Society opened so many doors for me as a young lad and my family - it made our lives just that bit better."
