Just bought one to facilitate easy placement and removal from a tight new carbon fit bottle cage. The tappered bottom really helps . The design is nice. All my other water bottles are pretty scratched up! Will see how this one goes. Outflow is rather small though and will probably require a firm squeeze!
I have the smaller ABLOC bottles. I agree that they are beautiful bottles and go great with my ultra stealthy bike (All black with ENVE components). The only issue I have is that the small ABLOC bottles are loose when used with ENVE bottle cages. I think its because the bottle tapers slightly at the bottom. I decided to use them on my backup bike which has tighter Bontrager bottle cages.
I've got both size bottles. I love the shape and how it goes into the cage easier. Had the same problem with the drink mix scooper, but emailed and found out the plastic tag is designed as a funnel. Luckily, I had one lying around!
agree with your pov. we have the same thoughts on saddle bags. why spend 100000'ss on an aero carbon bike to then put a saddle bag on it making it look a bit crap, almost nulifying the aero advantage and altering the handling.
I'm willing to pay for the Specialized Purist water bottle with the "watergate" cap. The internal coating keeps my water from tasting like a water bottle and the "heart valve" doesn't require opening and closing, but still keeps water from splashing out.
I got one of these for Christmas and it started using it now. While yes it does look great, I would NOT recommend this bottle to anybody. The opening is too small to put ice in, and it's not insulated. You have to squeeze really hard to get water and the stream is inconsistent and drips all over.
cheppere I do agree with your opinion about hole size; it is hard to get the powder into, and it is impossible to get ice in there. I Don't have a leaking problem, Are you taking the cap apart to clean it, or putting the cap and bottle in the dishwasher?
Road Bike Culture I hadn't taken it apart until today after watching your video (thanks for that!) since the bottle is only a few months old and only used a handful of times during the winter. No I haven't put it (or any of my Camelbacks) in the dishwasher. Unfortunately the stream is simply terrible, and with as many negatives as this bottle has I absolutely wouldn't recommend, the nice design is all it has going for it. Thanks for following up.
No thanks. Small hole nope. Pain to clean inside the bottle. Overall not great looking but that is a matter of opinion. The camelbak podium 2 is a good looking bottle, large hole, and plastic has additives that help keep it clean.

Go with the larger one, it's my preference!
Good to know!
Thanks for the great room review! Your humor is hilarious!

I tossed mine the day I got it, the funnel works awesome! Thanks for commenting.

Unfortunately abloc don’t sell the cap separately. I’ve had bad caps from the old ones. All i need is just the caps.
