The way Sam and Mon look at each other throughout the episode is so rare. When they look into each other no matter which scene, you can sense they’re communicating with their eyes. Becky actually doesn’t have a lot of lines in this episodes. But they don’t need to say much to express all their feelings. It’s magical. the thing about the last confrontation is Lady Grandmother is the only one who actually stayed and took care of her, Neung left, Song died and we don't know what happened to the parents so she is the only family she knows up until Mon came into her life. Wether she chooses Mon or Grandmother, she would still end up heartbroken one way or the other

Todays ep let me feel all human emotions possible packed in one hour and left me finally heartbroken with the preview 😭 *BUT* my guess for ep 12: - the scene with K*** (I refuse to use the name of this man) and Sam is the pre-shoot of the wedding which the grandma from hell mentioned - So Sam agreed to marry K*** out of guilt because she thinks she's responsible for the heartattack - Mon says goodbye and leave for a longer time (England). - the new character shows up who is mentioned in the beginning of every ep. "Honorable Khun Phoon". I think he will heal the witch from her mental damage called homophobia. Because she loves Sam the most of the 3 granddaughters. In some facial expressions (very small ones) in the latest ep and also today you can see some tiny cracks. Khun Phoon and Khun Neung for the rescue. - Sam suffers a lot because of the loss of Mon who break off the contact completely. - Recovered Granny realises how extremely hurt Sam is and finally accept her decision and K*** too. As he knows that Sam doesn't love him and NEVER will. He loves her enough to let her go. As he mentioned to the heartattacked old lady "Let Sam leave" - I have no idea how it'll work that Sam and Mon getting together again. Maybe with a little help of Captain Jim, Kade and Tee. Maybe are Mons parents involved? But my strong believe is: they will be reunited. Happy End incoming.

academy award winning episode if there's an award for it. everyone deserve an award just for episode 11. Sam was incredible. I cant even put a word for it. Mon doesnt have a lot of script for me but my god the girl emotions just tells you everything u need to know. Why sam was torn between family and Mon? I'm an Asean born and breed and I know how hard it is to say no to your family regardless how miserable it makes you. We kids rather be miserable than go against our parents. I can relate to Sam situation since i can see a lot of people asking why it was so hard for Sam to choose herself. Mon while want Sam to fight, you can also see her wanting Sam to choose her grandmother. Mon grew up with her Asean mom who really supported her. she still lives with her parents and that it wasnt just a normal thing in Asean it is also telling how much she loves her parents. It make sense why she was willing to sacrifice just so that Sam dont fight with her grandmother. I dont like Kirk since he could easily walked out if he has the cheek to tell Mon to leave when he himself is selfish. But that is what expected. I dont know his motive, but something tells me he owes the grandmother his life. it is so hard to watch Sam make promise to Mon when i knew she cant keep it. She crumble once under pressure, she will crumble again and Mon will just get hurt again. The only way Sam and Mon can be together in episode 12 is when grandmother give Sam her blessing. Without it, Sam will never stood for herself, leave Mon feeling shit about herself and eventually leave.
This episode was so intense, and as an interfan I realised why Sam and her siblings had their names. Nueng, Song and Sam means 1, 2, 3 in the order they were born. When Songs flashback moment came it hit me like a tonne of bricks. Learning a little Thai it added an extra layer to the show for me. Nueng really came out as number 1, powerful and ready to fight for Sam and her happiness even though she herself said she was terrified. Such an emotional journey. There's so much I could say about the vulnerability and beauty of the scenes however, I need to invest my word count into an assignment due 😂
I would like to take this time and thank you for have Gap the Series on your channel. There others out there that have not given them any credit. Which I feel that they deserve. The backstory of how this story came about its an accomplishment in itself. These two young ladies gave it their all to the story. The chemistry between them is undeniable. We were able to see these two characters grow into a beautiful women. The attention that they are getting worldwide is deserve. As many of you I watch a little of Generation Q and I was so upset at the crumbs that we were given with Bette and Tina wedding. It was more than disturbing. This series was about friendship , family, and most of all love conquers all. They have raised the bar so high. If we are to have a Generation Q season 4 if they have the same writers I will not watch. Thailand should be so proud of what this series has accomplish. I am also sad that it finish but it was great. could there have been changes yes but overall they have listen to the fans, and that is something that we are getting from Generation Q.

Never, Never have I ever come to sense that this Series is actually produced and aired. I stumbled upon its pilot trailer a year ago, thus going banana for a couple of weeks. And then, the show was just cluttered up among other things in my attic of neglect. Suddenly, the show just sprang up on my TH-cam and frankly, I did not remember it was the actual show of the pilot I had watched a year before. But, GOD, It turned out beautiful. What makes it even better is that the novel's synopsis is pretty vanilla (No offense to anyone) but FreenBeck's outstanding chemistry and performance elevate the show to a bar that none of the WLW-related that came before shows had ever reached. Also, In the novel, the story ends when Sam came to Mon and asked her to come back to her, and the show just went to great lengths to award us with a heavenly wedding.
I was a little shocked with the weird saxophone sound , but ... When I saw the uncut seen it hit me. The original love scene was perfection. It conveyed love and sadness at their finest..💔
If I had to guess, I'd say Sam is wearing that dress in the preview for the photo shoot Kirk and grandma mentioned, rather than an actual wedding. This was such a fantastic episode, Freen really knocked it out of the park.
Guys, chill. this is a happy ending. MonSam ended up together in the novel. Yes, the GAP series made a few tweaks for tv airing purposes but they stayed true with gist of the novel. I love them together. I think Sam finaly understands that she has to chose for her own happiness. Not for anybody but herself. And if she gains love by doing so she has a double win. Also it would be so much more heathier for their relationship. To do something for someone is a beautyfull thing, but it can be twisted around if it effects your personal and emotional state. You made it because you wanted it for you, so the only one to blame is yourself.

I will say that as a non-white lesbian. I had a tyrannical grandmother who bullied one of my cousins because she had dark skin and unfeminine facial features. I was exempt from much of her ire because my dad was her favorite son, but she was a tyrant to my mom too. All that to say that: older generations often think they are providing a service in the name of “making the new generation stronger”, however they don’t take the way that times change into account, or see their responsibility as being making the chosen path of the ones they love easier.

Something about avoiding age restriction on TH-cam. It happened with episode 8 I think and from my understanding of TH-cam rules if it happens too much etc they'd lose being monetised. Kirk is still ready to marry Sam even though everyone told (shouted) him that she will never love him, Sam is ready to keep Mon as second wife (the way they call the "secret lover" in Asia), the grandmother can accept this compromise: they 3 simply make me disgusted to vomit. Mon has been insulted in every possible way for 11 episodes: it's time to stop for the sake of her dignity.
I watch episode 11 and I was crying and it hurt me to the bone. but I hope that in the next episode they have a happy ending. The growth of the characters amazing. I myself dont want to end. but I am hoping that we get a season 2. great great series. I love the entire cast especially her 4 friends.

Have you seen the original pilot ? It is much darker. Their reworking of things really improved it. And did you know that because of the pushback from outside people, they did not get any sponsors, so the producer ‘Saint’ financed the entire project himself. Blessings to him. 🙏. ( and I’d say it paid off for him 👍)
It was actually because of Thai sapphic community who didn't like the author (I admit she's not a good writer and her works can be male gaze-y at times) but fortunately, production team took criticisms very well and listened to voice of sapphic community. They changed their ways in the official series.

From my experience watching kdrama sad endings they build an argument of duty or right thing to do on the third act. Here they are being very clear that Sam would be wrong to marry kirk. For me there's still hope although my heart has been broken as many times as Mons at this point.

Sam goes to take care of Grannie and they don’t see each other for a few months. Mon works for Tee now. Did you catch the one line when Sam said she could do what Song did? Sam will be suicidal and a shrink will convince Grannie to let them be together but ask them not to marry while she’s still alive. My perfect ending would be for them to flee to England and get married.
In the the book they don’t see each other for a long time. The book is violent. Kirk ties to “ force” himself on Sam. Sam is suicidal. Grannie sees her clothes ripped and smacks Kirk and lets Sam go toMon but makes her agree to not marry while she is still alive. Mon works for Tee and goes on a date with Tees brother. Sam shows up. Sam asked for another chance. Book 2 is brutal. Sam has a brain tumor and forgets Mon. Sam has a dgt - is it Kirks? Mon gives up again. Book 2 is not yet finished.

Never, Never have I ever come to sense that this Series is actually produced and aired. I stumbled upon its pilot trailer a year ago, thus going banana for a couple of weeks. And then, the show was just cluttered up among other things in my attic of neglect. Suddenly, the show just sprang up on my TH-cam and frankly, I did not remember it was the actual show of the pilot I had watched a year before. But, GOD, It turned out beautiful. What makes it even better is that the novel's synopsis is pretty vanilla (No offense to anyone) but FreenBeck's outstanding chemistry and performance elevate the show to a bar that none of the WLW-related that came before shows had ever reached. Also, In the novel, the story ends when Sam came to Mon and asked her to come back to her, and the show just went to great lengths to award us with a heavenly wedding.

Guys, chill. this is a happy ending. MonSam ended up together in the novel. Yes, the GAP series made a few tweaks for tv airing purposes but they stayed true with gist of the novel. That's why this story is loved by millions of fans coz this is the sunshine and rainbow we all need from all the battles we face just because we love a certain person. love wins everybody!🌈💖

I love them together. I think Sam finaly understands that she has to chose for her own happiness. Not for anybody but herself. And if she gains love by doing so she has a double win. Also it would be so much more heathier for their relationship. To do something for someone is a beautyfull thing, but it can be twisted around if it effects your personal and emotional state. You made it because you wanted it for you, so the only one to blame is yourself.

the confrontation scene straight up one of the best i've seen. that one scene surfaced everyone's nature and every single one in the cast delivered esp freen and mind. fcking blew me away.
We all need a Neung in our lives. Her acting was fire. I love how far Sam's character has come with expressing herself and how she feels for Mon. Kirk isn't helping the situation.
Everyone (including Freen and Becky and those who have read the novel) says its a happy ending. Logically it has to be or why would they release it in person to a sell out crowd? But all of their eye contracts, connection and intimacy were probably influenced by female gaze.

They read script and get into characters then shoot love scenes with only one take for each angle. They didn't have a rehearsal, practice or choreography. They went with the flow, and did everything...they also couldn't stop when a director had to torture his voice box by screaming, "cut!" too many times 😅

I will say that as a non-white lesbian. I had a tyrannical grandmother who bullied one of my cousins because she had dark skin and unfeminine facial features. I was exempt from much of her ire because my dad was her favorite son, but she was a tyrant to my mom too. Something about avoiding age restriction on TH-cam. It happened with episode 8 I think and from my understanding of TH-cam rules if it happens too much etc they'd lose being monetised. I'm glad the director posted the uncut version but I kinda wish they'd release a bundle or something you can buy to have all the director's cuts, I'd pay for that for sure.

Kirk is still ready to marry Sam even though everyone told (shouted) him that she will never love him, Sam is ready to keep Mon as second wife (the way they call the "secret lover" in Asia), the grandmother can accept this compromise: they 3 simply make me disgusted to vomit. Mon has been insulted in every possible way for 11 episodes: it's time to stop for the sake of her dignity.
My favorite scene was at the end when Sam makes a decision and takes Mons hand, it was such a powerful moment, I connected with it.
My head canon defies anything the final episode can throw at me. Bring it!
I watch episode 11 and I was crying and it hurt me to the bone. but I hope that in the next episode they have a happy ending. The growth of the characters amazing. I myself dont want to end. but I am hoping that we get a season 2. great great series. I love the entire cast especially her 4 friends.

Have you seen the original pilot ? It is much darker. Their reworking of things really improved it. And did you know that because of the pushback from outside people, they did not get any sponsors, so the producer ‘Saint’ financed the entire project himself. Blessings to him. 🙏. It was actually because of Thai sapphic community who didn't like the author (I admit she's not a good writer and her works can be male gaze-y at times) but fortunately, production team took criticisms very well and listened to voice of sapphic community. They changed their ways in the official series.

From my experience watching kdrama sad endings they build an argument of duty or right thing to do on the third act. Here they are being very clear that Sam would be wrong to marry kirk. For me there's still hope although my heart has been broken as many times as Mons at this point.

Sam goes to take care of Grannie and they don’t see each other for a few months. Mon works for Tee now. Did you catch the one line when Sam said she could do what Song did? Sam will be suicidal and a shrink will convince Grannie to let them be together but ask them not to marry while she’s still alive. My perfect ending would be for them to flee to England and get married.
Is that how it is in the book?
In the the book they don’t see each other for a long time. The book is violent. Kirk ties to “ force” himself on Sam. Sam is suicidal. Grannie sees her clothes ripped and smacks Kirk and lets Sam go toMon but makes her agree to not marry while she is still alive. Mon works for Tee and goes on a date with Tees brother. Sam shows up. Sam asked for another chance. Book 2 is brutal. Sam has a brain tumor and forgets Mon. Sam has a dgt - is it Kirks? Mon gives up again. Book 2 is not yet finished.
I only know this from a friend in Thailand.
