One of the best from what must surely be one af Britain's most forgotten and underestimated bands.

I struggle to understand why that is as well, it's not like they were just a one hit wonder. They had hit song after hit song with a strong 5 year run in the late 60's into the early 70's.
Radio play is one reason they don't get remembered, 60's songs don't get replayed nearly as often as 70's songs (how many times have you heard Bohemian Rhapsody being played then think of the last time you heard anything from the Beatles, Small Faces, The Who etc).

Such an influential band, they should be in the Rock & Role Hall of Fame. Roy Wood has always brough out great stuff, I saw they live at the "!Mayfair" in Newcastle in the 70 when he was leader of Wizard, another great band

Roy, along with Bev Bevan, were inducted into the RRHOF as members of ELO with Jeff Lynne in 2017. I think that's as close to recognition as The Move will get.

Great bass playing on this song and the lead singer (for the song) for some reason keeps reminding me a little of Paul McCartney. All three front men are singing which is interesting. A talented group of musicians.

@Bliar1 : Standard BBC practice at the time was to pre-record the instrumental backing; only the vocals were done live. Neither of the guitars is plugged into anything, so it's obvious they're miming.
