Oh my gosh! I am so thrilled for you Dejay! So many of the donkeys I groom have been born in the middle of the night in a storm! We named the last one Thunder because the storm we had while be was being born shook the ground with all the heavy thunder. Your new baby is gorgeous! I am so jealous!

Since I've been on a kick lately throwing out donkey baby names, here's a few more for the new little baby. 😁 Jezebel, Jazz, Jett (cause she so dark like jet black) Jase, Jacie or Jacelyn, Jasmine and Jade. I think all of those are cute names. Congrats on the new little one. It's so cute.
How about plain old JB for Jet Black

I also like Patsy. I think that's a cute name. Kind of like Patsy Cline. With that dark hair and all, Patsy Cline is fitting. Or the coal miners daughter, Loretta Lynn. Both had dark hair and were beautiful.
I love the names Jezebel and Jacelyn cuz I love old fashioned names for animals cuz they all have old souls. They're so wise and if we all truly listened to them and understand what they're trying to say and what they're trying to teach us in their very short lives (compared to humans), maybe the world would be a different beautiful and better place to live and if more people were like DeJay and Jami from Ima Survivor/From Suits to Boots/Longhorn Lester's, the world would definitely be a better place to live! I don't think DeJay minds that I'm mentioning Jami cuz they're good friends, and I love both of them! Yes, still praying for that beautiful little soul, Jessie.💜

@@virginiacurrey2019 they had to take her to the vet because she was lethargic. She was born very small too. It looked like they were giving a IV but haven’t seen a update.

We started halter training our baby donkeys as soon as they were born, not really leading them around, but more like having them getting used to having it on. The goat halters from tractor supply work really well. The new baby is gorgeous, I’d love to add a dark chocolate or black donkey to my herd ❤
