FYI Relic fragments can be upgraded easier in apocalypse mode My old fragments in this video were 4.8% armor, 5.4% healing effectiveness and 1.788 DR. I now have 15% armor, 20% healing, 3.58% DR and can swap in 14% shields!
On the stat sheet it says that you can get a total of 80% Damage Reduction from all sources. You have way too much.
It is currently incorrect, I actually mentioned that in this video and my previous video! You can 100% pass 80% and will get more reduction!
The Bright Steel ring that let you have the fastest roll regardless of encumberance is also a great choice. Reggie sold this for me sometime after I beat the game on veteran.

I feel like having engineer as your prime then medic secondary would be better. You don’t need the extra relics that much and then you have access to extra dr and a very powerful weapon. Also helps that the engineer “roll” feels really good.
I was doing Engineer and Summoner for a while actually but this build was to swap it up a bit with something new!
If you wanted even more consistent healing, you could instead use a basic rifle instead of a boss weapon and put the fire mod or corrosion mod onto it, as the DOT ticking will give you health back as well. Given it's 3% lifesteal, that's a lot of 4s and 5s amplified by 50% to make them 6s or 7s. That level of additional healing per damage tick can make your regen even more insane, and is quite consistent against bosses that are stubborn or deal immense burst damage.

@@NottheWinnerGaming Another thing to endorse that kind of mod use is also the bosses with the regenerator prefix. DOT is a huge help against their constantly refilling health pool on higher difficulties.
Ive noticed that! Im using the necklace that puts corrode/dot on weapon swap. Its a very good source of free damage and the healing combined with 3% leech its very good!
Get rid of Hardened Coil and Twisted Idol.
Use Harcore Metal Band and Insulation Driver
Insulation Driver (amulet) = While Bulwalk is active, gain 15% TO ALL DAMAGE (including summons) and Haste.
Harcore Metal Band (Ring) = Taking Damage adds 1 stack of Bulwalk which individually falls off after 10s Max 5 stacks.
To explain:
The ring synergizes incrediblly well with the amulet
Bulwalk = 5% damage reduction (enimies deal less damage) ((stacks 5× whith Hardcore Metal Band = 25% damage reduction with 1 ring))
Haste = 5% movement speed, firerate and melee atack speed.
Bulwark from hits falls off too quick in boss fights and if you take 3 of the 5 hits in a boss fight in 10 seconds it wont feel great! I tried bulwark for a while but for now it doesnt hold up to pure DR unless in very specific builds!
@@NottheWinnerGaming I ise it to tank small hits, I don't see the point of wearing lettos and having shields if players want to dodge every attack. Twisted Idol or Brightsteel Ring is just a waste of much needed damage slots for a tanky build.
I prefere to tank small damage hits which keeps Bulwark active you can trade Hardcore Metal Band for souls Guard or even use both as you are summoner that way Bulwark is active 100% of the time which means Insulation drivers 15% all damage + haste is active 100% of the time.
You'll have all tje movement needed to avoid big attacks (I flop extreme damage attacks) but Bulwark + shields is more than enough to keep me alive on recovery, and back at it.
It's crazy strong survival in apocalypse, it's down to your playstyle. 😁
Many boss fights do not have small hits which is why I avoid that bulwark ring but I hear you! So many options!!
Damage reduction right now is bugged. If you have more than 80% from two sources together (so armor and dr) it caps you at 80, but if you have more than 80% from one single source it actually doesn't cap you. That is why you can become literally immortal with engineer and have over 100% dr.

@@NottheWinnerGaming Yes it does. I just tested it and took damage with 117.5% total dr, 56% coming from flat dr and 61.5% from armor.
Not cap. 67% plus 2 ring 110+% when I touch 30%hp i become immortal.

Hi. When the DR% is fixed (if it actually does anything), you can switch from the extra DR to MAX%/MAX HP stuff.
With 200 max HP you'll survive almost everything except for some nasty boss modifier on Apo difficulty. (Spiteful Boss low HP burst combo or something)
The +HP regen still works great even with that amount of HP because you are usually not getting hit 5 times in 5 seconds but 5 times over 30 even if you mess up a lot.
The shield effects are obviously super strong as well then. 25% max HP shield = 50 HP extra.
You can get 80% DR and 200 HP with some amoaunt of DPS amulets/rings and 50 encumbrance.
Requires you to use Alchemist though.
On top of that, the 10% over 10s rings are providing 2,5hp/s with that much max HP + Triage.
Yeah I was thinking about going for a maxed out HP build next with DR and regen with mid to low weight rolls! :) I am very excited to try it out!
used something similar for my apoc run, with a few differences:
-Engineer and challenger (the sustain of the build is so good I feel medic is overkill, though the challenger abilities dont bring much to the build besides a really solid damage perk that is only matched in its versatility by the handler, who suffers in apoc from the dog dying too often)
-Amulet is the Difference Engine, granting 20% damage and 1.5% of base damage as lifesteal as long as you have a shield
-instead of ring of crisis, use the bright steel ring. this allows you to have light armor roll even if above 75 weight; pack full leto, still roll easily, and the extra stam usage from all the maluses will actually guarantee you gain shield on every dodge
-no triage, as regen and lifesteal dont count as healing to my knowledge
I also consider the hardened coil slot to be flexible: microcompressor if using a overheating weapon, stone of balance for more damage, black cat ring... the choice is vast. Also meant you can fit in the curse immunity ring here against the red prince without damaging the build
Strengh of the build: you never need to use a relic manually, to heal just dodge for shield and shoot the enemy to recover health; you can go from no health to full health in a few seconds. Still have decent offense especially while carrying the Vulcan thanks to the damage boosting amulet and flexible ring of choice
con: not very mobile and stam usage means you gotta be mindful of when you roll else you may end up without stamina at the worst of times. Also vulnerable to being oneshotted from full health especially in apocalypse, dodging what you can is NOT an option even if recovery is quick. Also the build is hard to gather up, especially the relic that needs 2 worlds of the campaign to be a specific variation (need the sha'hala boss for the override pinion and the nightweaver to sacrifice the pinion in her web... sicne the pinion is a quest item adventure doesnt help in obtaining the relic)
a cool idea is that if you use burden of the divine you can also constantly be giving your allies half your regen

love the build gave me some ideas to try. also in case you didn't know the spikes you put into 1 guy with the electric gun shoot 1 into another enemy or wall and it will amp the damage of the other 6 in the big guy.

I actually had a version of this for my build except I was using alchemist engineer and I stacked hp to get 198hp. with that shield regen ring I was regening effectively 6hp just from that ring
Edit: since I was using alchemist u could stack resistances very easily the only down side to my build is that it cost a lot of scrap but ur hella tanky at least 😭

@@NottheWinnerGaming it’s honestly pretty fun bc with alchemist u can stack status resistance if it’s a boss that uses some sort of elemental dmg. I’ve had upwards of 160 blight resistance in one instance. The only real downside with my build is that it cost some chump change 😔 to keep up all the buffs

You need to test this build on bosses that have a Vicious affix modifier to see if it's good, they do an insane amount of damage. I ran a Restriction Cord tank build yesterday a bit similar to your last video in a 2 player Apoc run against the Venom boss with Vicious on Root Earth and I got decimated. All of his ranged attacks instantly kill me. Even with 386.1 armor and all defensive traits maxed I die in 1 hit and things like Amber Moonstone was completely worthless as they won't even have a chance to trigger. I wonder if shield tanking would fare a bit better against one hit attacks.
Venom can be somewhat brutal, but you can increase the evade range trait (also the invader evade one helps a ton too) to roll out of the aoes way faster and dodge well, that fight requires more focus IMO, one of the hardest in the game!
Bricht steel ring ,and you have the fast posible dodge with leto 1 or 2 armor ,,you can use a talisman for more dps !!
Love the use of Tranquil Heart relic on this build. Clever way to tap all that regen. If the build Constantly made sure to pop the relic every 30 seconds I wonder if Decayed Heart would work better in a boss fight given that with all of the regen you're getting back relic uses *very* fast due to the regenerator prime perk. I have two questions:
1) Do you have any recommendations on the best Concoction to use to make the build even tankier? I could see Mudtooth's Tonic (+25 max HP), Root Water (+0.75 HP/sec) or Sanguine Vapor (+3.5% lifesteal but take 10% more damage) being ideal and am not sure which to take.
2) If you had to give up a ring to slot in Burden of the Divine ( *50% of all healing applied to you is also applied to allies* ) which ring would you take off? I want to run this build in a party of 3, and being able to make the other two players regenerate at half of my rate would be incredibly useful given that half of a massive damage sponge is still a massive damage sponge.
Well you could always run an alchemist and healer build... pretty sure you can do 4 concoctions, then use healer for max shield! I dont have alchemist yet! Once I have it I will release a video showing that one off! Insanely overpowered!
This is basically the exact build I played on my first play through in Veteran. In Apocalypse it’s really not as viable as you’ll have a harder time dodging bosses especially if they have a combo attack and you likely won’t win the war of attrition as your damage is really suffering.
Honestly I havent had an issue with this build in Apoc.. plus you can extend your dodge range with another trait if needbe!

This may be moot for PC, but since the patch hasn't happened on console as of yet, I just cleared the campaign on a second character and whisper fixed himself on my main.
since you are using health regen trait and relic, Anastasija's Inspiration is also a good choice to replace Hardened Coil, you got haste buff all the time

Haha sleep is never needed! So far my favorite is either this one or the last one! Previous just had the DR that I love! Fits me better but the shields survive a little better! Hopefully I can have a bunch more solid one coming out soon! Cheers Harry!
ya the hardened coil dr ring is pointless since you're already over 80% dr and its stats aren't even added until you lose hp. i would say use the Dense Silicon Ring that lets you regen 200% of hp healed as mod power since this build focuses on constantly healing from the constant active shields
The 80% isnt currently accurate as I mentioned in the video but yeah there are other options you can swap in!

Lol only had a couple build videos so far, but this builds are more focused on tanking not attacking! Weapon swaps come in when we need them as enigma handles everything for now!
@@NottheWinnerGaming im just pointing out that everyone uses engina and the nightweaver gun, i mean shure they are really good but after some Time of speedruning with enigma the game gets boring And mobbing is not engaging anymore. Now i only use it when i died And want to get to the same spot effortlessly
I would recommend the Stone of malevolence if you could find a way to work it in to your build cause you would not only be tanky with a shields but have a nearly infinite mod generation for your weapons thus in creasing your damage out put a lot

I finished build. For solo play it Is viable. But boss fights are pain - 25mins for archer boss in Yaesha. Build lack dmg and after patch (on Xbox we dont have it yet) it will be even worse...
Letos amulet provides you more weight reduction to mid roll instead of fat roll and all you have to do is flop 100 times to get it from doc

You could also do, ring of crisis + amber moonstone with something like ring of grace or generating band, on top of restricting cord or hardened coil while being less tanky albeit its a lot riskier
100% I was using amber moonstone in my last build with restricting cord and mentioned ring of grace!

im gonna mess around with this set up today. the previous one was outrageously broken outside of the handful of attacks that could 1 shot still. Hopefully this feels as good as it should survive future patches that fix the DR cap
Yeah this one will survive the patches thankfully, but they both feel about the same level of OP! This one survives those 1 shots though!

I'd consider Blood Bond over Untouchable in the Traits - it's like an extra 10% Flat DR that is not mitigated by DR's 80% Cap regardless of situation.
That would only apply with a summon up though vs all the time!
@@NottheWinnerGaming Right but Untouchable isn't innate DR it's a skill check with a boost window. Where if you get hit having that extra Flat DR mitigation can be huge. Especially if you have the Tanky Minion Guy.

Going to give this a go as soon as I get the items. Hunter/Summoner is my favourite combo atm. Although, there are still some archetypes I have not got or seen yet.
Most are very fun tbh!
Once I maxed summoner for the regen perk I ended up dropping it for the invader class personally. I love the minions and all but they can be squishy on tougher fights. Also they can be lousy on the final boss. Love the doggo though. Even if it cant hit flyers it does have some awesome options :)
i use Vaccum seal instead of rerouting cable, swap summoner for alchemist use 4 concoctions for max hp and more regen,

The stat sheet DR isn't true damage reduction.
You can have well over 100 on the stat sheet and it's probably way less than 70, let alone 80% DR.
The stat sheet just adds all the flat amounts together. But damage reduction is a multiplicative formula to calculate damage received. Which also gives the true DR as a result.
The massive DR for being low health ring. Kicks in notably even when your base DR is pushing 90-100. Because like I said, you base DR is actually no where near that.

I run something similar but alch as main, medic 2nd, so i can get all the buffs, like 30 more armor, hp regen, extra hp etc, and I use the neck that gives me 25% damage increase and 10% damage reduction for 20 sec every time I get damaged, and one of my other rings is the hp regen one, 0.33 hp regen and 2 hp regen when at 50% hp or below i think it was, the shield one on 25% is also nice, but I do not have that one yet!

Are you sure the hardened coil can put you above the cap of 80% DR? And would bulwark work too, for that matter? I can't imagine they would let us get to 100%
Leto 1 is one of a bunch of sets that go in the shop after finishing the campaign btw
You can pass 80% I am 100% certain but 100% doesnt mean no damage, 140% is way less dmg than 120% 100% or 80% so it really just makes you tankier as you go up!
Cant find the Ring of Crisis 😢 ran a lot of dungeons in Nerud: The Hatchery, The Putrid Domain, The Dark Conduit, when i found one and ring was not there i rerolled the adventure and went again but still no luck

I'd say if youre goanna run summoner use soul link for the extra heals, then you can even combo it with engineer.

What are you talking about???? Everytime a normal enemy hit you, you lost a ton of your health??? And how does the shield work?? You lost health before the shield took any damage??
Seems like you are one of those that just doubts. The last build was all about DR so lowering damage, this one is about tanking the hit and healing from it right away while also getting shields... You should rewatch and notice that despite me taking damage it heals insanely quick :)

Generating was from the hatchery in the water room that fills up, but could be random, I forget where i got the other!
Almost similar setup in terms of ring and amulet for me, I personally ran Ring of Grace (10% of health back over 10s) instead of Harden Coil
I did it for a while, but my regen is high enough for now lol!

How would the hardcore iron ring or whatever its called fare? From what ive read bulwark is 5%, and that ring stacks 5 times on taking damage. Im assuming the coil is more consistent?
Coil is more consistent 100%! Bulwark is great, but you need to get hit so many times, which is usually a bad idea vs a boss! By the time you dodge 1-2 hits to live, your bulwark is gone again!

Very Nice Build, CAn I use other ranged weapon instead of Nightfall? Any other choices?
Tons of other options, tbh i primarily use the offhand weapon but it doesnt have the range on bosses, so I use nightfall for those. I think tons of other weapons can work due to the mods you can attach! I will be doing a lot more testing but I think the first 2 major patches should help a lot! Traits will be buffed but I think certain mods will also be buffed so people dont just use 1-2 boss weapons.

How are you able to use other archetype traits? such as engineer while running medic and summoner archetype? and the medic trait says mod healing increase, not all healing, does that still affect the passive health regen in the build?
Medic healing does currently work on the regen not just mod healing! Also when you level a archetype to 10 then you can level up the trait for other builds!

Quick question: 4:10 does Triage gives healing effectivnes to all incoming healing, or only from healing mods?? Because it states 50% Healing Mod so meaning you could only trigger that effect with mods like "Healing Shot". Or am i wrong her, even the Remnant 2 Wiki states mod healing. But he states it is from "All Healing". So what is right now, does anyone know? Im kinda confused now. 😅
Sure, it is currently to all healing including regen. This may be patched later but I think it might actually be intentional :)

I just got this ring in The Putrid Domain, in the room that requires Aerary Glyph to open, the room is spawned randomly so you may have to reroll a few times.

Use siphoneer and dealing loads of damage does the same, except you kill bosses 5x faster

Yeah probably one of the more frustrating ones, but you could also run a full dodge build and dodge way out of circles with the highest dodge windows to survive it! I might make a build on that soon!
Theres another bug where you can't swap your secondary archetype and yu can't spend trait points. Absolute mess

What runes are you using in your relic for this build I forgot to ask sooner but now that I have gotten the trait bug where I have zero traits I figure now is a better time then any since I have to farm 60 trait points now.
On relic i run Armor, Healing Effectiveness, and DR. This adds 15% armor 20% healing and about 4% dr when maxed! I need to check to see if there is a HP one again though, because that maxed might be far better than bonus healing!

Wait that Shield is different than the one I have from The Ring you have a completely separate bar above your health for shield but I have ammo pickup gives you a 10% Shield I think it was but it makes a white bar that goes around my health bar what's the difference there

Interesting I've got to do a little bit more experimenting with this once I get some more items and see if I can figure out exactly what's what and how things are working
At 9 minutes where you're fighting the big guy, you spam Enigma's Mod. It doesn't stack on a single enemy. Instead you should shoot them once with one tether, then shoot them on the ground. This acts the same as if they were tethered by several people and take all of that damage combined.
As you hit the dps from the shock increases per bolt, but 100% tether is more damage and far more useful!

Its in nerud, some say the hatchery but I was in The Dark Conduit I think! Someone also said todays its just a random spawn on Nerud, best of luck!

Triage only benefits healing mods (weapon mods)
It seems to improve regen also actually :P
It’s healing from all sources
You need to update your knowledge. The trait description got patched and it effects all healing. It only affected mods in the first game, but now affects all healing except lifesteal

can someone pls tell me how to get twisted idol amulent + tranquil heart relic ?
Twisted idol is from Cass's shop in town. Its random took me 3.5 days to get it to show up (need to grind the bosses to get new items to show up).
Tranquil heart you need to get a specific item in nerud (the one to skip the sha something boss) then bring that to nightweaver web and put it in there. (Must be campaign mode and not guaranteed in a playthrough) then you get a relic(heart) you can bring to Nimue (blue moon deity in Losomn) and trade it for tranquil heart.... kinda annoying but worth it!
Talisman from your friend (from the beginning of the game), she had a shop, and relic - there is a secret trader in first world, better google it, because it requires a lot of steps

pretty sure you help me kill the final boss. you could not be killed while me and the other guy were just dead. you solo-ed him for me lol very slowly I'll be it but still lol
Lol I have helped a couple people fight tougher bosses while they were both dead, but I typically dont join pub lobbies, just friends! Too many glitchers out there that I have been hearing about recently, and didnt want someone to ruin something for me!

@@NottheWinnerGaming Leto's amulet, bisected ring, bright steel ring, dread ring, Archon class, medic class as secondary, these are just a few that may help this build and you can use the Leto armor with the bright steel ring easy.
You're not rolling through enemy's with that build
Ehh it does fine on mobs and you can sub out some survivability for damage as you please :)
Lol i try it out and need 10 min to defeat the Boss but it works on my first try...but it was the easy Boss in yaesha with the bow😂

I got a pretty nasty tank build as well. I just need triage and a life steal ring and it'll be great.
I run with engineer main and sub with challenger. I mostly revolve around the bulwark status though and a special amulet that on hit I get a damage boost and a flat 10% damage reduction. And all my sustain comes from my high DPS. It requires a bit more effort with good placement dodge timings, but when it's working I'm mowing dudes down.
