How long did you wait after installation to wash? I’m newly DIY locd, however my installation took 10 days to complete interlocking from tip to root. I was officially done locking December 30th. Should I wait until Jan 30th?

Does it matter that you rinse your hair with shower water and mix your shampoo with distilled water ?
My same Dilemma. I figured I’m rinsing out the shower water and soaking my hair with the distilled water... 🤷🏾♀️

I’ve read conditioner leads to product buildup inside the loc
