When the universe was still in its birth cries We came into being Our wills shaped worlds and gave light to stars But we did so as a family, no one of us above or below the other A unified dream of what we wished to make But alas our vision far exceeded our ability With out forms of flesh we did not fear time But galaxies took ages to craft and our vision was impatient Amidst our craft we came across a curious location A structure not of our own make and from material as old as the first worlds Our curiosity was peaked and we ventured forth into this craft It housed but a single seat, and when one of us rest our energies upon it We would be as if one with everything and could create or destroy with out restraint We took turns creating galaxes, stars, moons, worlds, peoples and beyond with but a thought But one of us, our brother Yaldabaoth refused to stand and wished to declare himself the master the device He wanted control and power above all He went so far as to try to subjugate even the smallest creature to his will The brightest of us stood to oppose him Lucifer the enlightened wished to return the universe to our kin and our creations will Yaldabaoth however beset those he already bent to his will to oppose those who wanted a universe free to choose their own fate And now our house is broken If only we knew what power that device held We would have never tampered with it For we should have never sat our selves upon The Eternal Throne.
