AVS is outdated. I became a believer in the Shaw Concepts ARC v2 after getting one in Multicam. Like it so much I plan on getting the M81 when it becomes available. Weight distribution and comfortability was key to my high praise of their plate carrier!

Im confused. The Crye AVS is a superior plate carrier at carrying heavy weight (as well as the Crye CAGE) because of it'a proprietary harness-type system that no other company uses. HRT straight up ripped-off the design in their new Load-Bearing PC. The Shaw looks like an incredibly comfortable carrier, but what about this design makes it good at carrying weight??? It's just a typical plate bag-rigid cummerbund system. What makes it distribute weight better than other heavy-duty carriers like the LBT 6094, Eagle MMAC, Velocity/Mayflower APC, etc? If I wanted to make those just as comfortable as the Arc I could just add pontoon padding or Qore IceVents like you can on the Arc. And thoss are significantly cheaper

The AVS is good at distributing weight because the harness makes it basically impossible to fit it improperly to your body. A well fit plate carrier with a structural cummerbund will act similarly.
@@Nuke-China similarly but never the same. The harness not only redistributes the weight around your whole body and to your hips when combined with a rigid cummerbund, but also allows for form-fitting without constricting the user, unlike traditional plate bags.
Crye Precision setups are unique to them and have features that other companies don't use like the AVS/CAGE harness or structural cummerbund on the SPC that slots into the plate pockets. The Shaw is a great carrier but doesn't seem game changing given it's typical design

Can the ROC rapid extraction system be interchanged from the left shoulder to the right shoulder ?
Weight seems to be important; wet or dry. Can you do the Matbock Berserker, which weighs 14 oz?
