  • A little look at this beautiful little church type building on Church road with its unusual gargoyles, there are a selection of still pictures of all the gargoyles at the end of the video.....and it has buried levels like every other building in the street.

All those holes in the side of the building are maybe wave guides that Global Vision has talked about.

Hi steve....i would give this area a miss because over the road is a covid testing centre along the road is a second covid testing centre also you have the police station in the same area so in light of this virus carry on and they dont like pictures taking of these centres so a drone overhead might get you in to trouble. I do have a couple of areas of interest regarding your drone i will sort out the image of the area i am on about and send them over to you.👍

My Mother lived a few doors down from here when it was called Paradise Row, she went to the Methodist Chapel here ,three times on a Sunday I don't think she liked it very much , the CO-Op Dairy was over the road.

    My thoughts...... : )
I think the word 'church' is a different spelling of the word 'charge' as in, electrical charge. If you look at how electricity is created today you'll find it involves copious amounts of steam that turn turbines that are attached to generators that 'generate' the electrical charge. ALL power plants need cooling towers to allow the steam to condense. Those 'towers' ARE cooling towers - that's why there are holes in the top of it, to release the pressure - and when the steam condenses it becomes water - and the water runs through the pipes and out of the mouths of the gargoyles. You can see the pipework attached to them!
The reason that towers had bells was as a warning signal if the steam pressure was too high (because then the bell would sway and start ringing). Depending on the pressure the construction was built to withstand would dictate what size of bell is required to indicate dangerous levels.
The towers were used like our own electric towers are used today - many spires still have multiple nodules showing where wiring used to be attached. The gargoyles are the personification of 'power'. They were symbols - or logos - showing the purpose of the building.
Also, I've recently looked into the huge organs in 'churches' - they were developed to run on steam! There are smaller versions of them that were made by the ancient Greeks that show how they work - so the 'churches' were no doubt being used for entertainment AS WELL.... and that's another thing, wells!
Wells are holes in the ground ... thermal wells are used today to create electricity by punching into the hot steam vents below ground. I'll bet that below that 'church' - and all other churches - there are thermal wells. Think about it - 'hole' holy water, 'well' as in feeling better (water from the hole that makes you feel well!) - thermal water has long been known to make your aches and pains ease - there are 'natural thermal springs' that people bath in today! So, the 'holy water' in the 'church' at the 'altar' - all starts to make sense.
Not only did the 'church' provide energy, it provided music and relaxation - it promoted good health! NOW it makes sense why there were so many of them!
BUT - this is what happens when a thermal vent system goes wrong - th-cam.com/video/1PXS1OIAD4o/w-d-xo.html - and I suspect that a magnetic pole reversal would create the situation that we are looking at today.
I've rambled on enough, Dave - sorry. I was just keen to voice my opinion, lol. Great video, my friend, and all the best to you.

WoW Cathy.....all of what you say makes perfect sense and has answered so many question i had about these buildings. Steam and the need to control the flow of steam through the cavities of these building. I am always banging on about the churches having an extensive cavity and how the need to control the flow of steam around the cavities was part of the functionality of the building. Steam power organs also the promoting of good heath via the well it mind blowing and makes perfect sense. Fantastic information again Cathy thanks...xx

@@daveeboney7089 you wouldn't find anything, it has been completely demolished inside : it is merely a shell and permission is given to the purchaser to demolish the whole thing as it is not listed.
Ps. Not sure where you get i893 from, it is stated as built i821/i865 depending what the source is: tho' that will be when its' use was changed to 'methodist chapel' it is obviously not a church anyway.
