Obviously you don't understand. He explained that what the grace of Jesus brought us into: not a life of carelessness and carnality. Yes, the grace of Jesus requires our own commitment to it. That's the message of the pastor. You don't understand what it means to be used of God for 50 years to build such a large church, do you? What is lie here? Anyways, you've just by this reaction confirmed yourself as ọne of those opposers he referred to. The man of God is not bothered by the naysayers, God's grace is keeping him to run with the vision. And He will finish strongly in Jesus name.
