This week, we talk about an unknown team of Power Rangers, and they are the Supersonic Rangers (the Power Rangers version of Chikyu Sentai Fiveman). They were the Ranger team of planet Xybria, just like the Time Force Green Ranger. They are one of the oldest teams, being from the 1860's. They even had their own original Green Ranger, known as Trek, who later became the Evil Psycho Green Ranger.
This isn't the first time you've seen them thought. Their Ranger Powers have been preserved within the Morphin Grid until Gosei later extracted the Ranger Powers from the Grid and made Legendary Ranger Keys for the Super Megaforce Rangers.
Today, we talk about their origin story, history, their weapons, zords, and ultimately, their downfall.

Well this is a neat way to explain where those “new powers” from Super Megaforce came from. Now a weird part of me wants to see the other weird “new powers” teams to get explained like that.

Keeper from DinoCharge mentions a planet named Sentai Six, maybe that's where the "new powers" came from.
They COULD of used the excuse that several of the pre Zyu teams came from Aquatar/Triforia, KO-35 and Mironoi(?).
Fun fact: Before there was Beast Morphers, the original plan was to set the adaptation of Go-Busters on Mironoi, as a direct sequel to Lost Galaxy, but Haim chose to skip the season and adapt Kyoryuger instead.
However the first skipped Sentai was Gosei Sentai Dairanger, where we got the White Power Ranger, and the Thunderzords from. (As well as Mike's Magna Defender morpher, a repainted Aura Changer.)
There were rumors that Saban was thinking about using the skipped over Dairanger footage for the Ancient Rangers in Lost Galaxy, but the story arc was cut. There are so many skipped seasons that one could create an entire alternate universe of Power Rangers.
They actually got the crappy lazy production mistakes of super mega force and made it into substantial power rangers lore? This is the coolest, strangest news I’ve heard all day!
I would like it if the super sonic team could serve as a way to introduce more super Sentai teams we have never seen before. Who would have known that super mega force would expand the boom studios comics.

I’m still hoping they use this comic story and the “new powers” from megaforce to give us lightning collection dairangers. I believe they are called the squadron rangers.
Oh yeah, Dairanger isn't 1 of the Super Sentai Team that got skipped when Neo Saban is back making Power Rangers. They got skipped in 1994, weeeeellllll the team got skipped not the Zords.

My fan theory for how it can be included the Dairangers in Mighty Morphin is how the rangers lost their powers in season 3. They lose their powers, the Thunderzords and Tigerzord, go to seek Ninjor and face their trails. However, their new ninja powers include the Dairanger suits (besides Tommy because his connection to the White Light and Saba), not the Mighty Morphin suits. The Dairanger zords are just the Ninja Zords from Kakuranger instead of the Thunderzords similar to how Mighty Morphin season 2 adapted the Thunderzords and White Ranger from Dairanger. This theory will probably never happened but it’s just an interesting theory of mine.
Back then, I heard Jetman was going to adapted before Zyuranger, I not sure that sure but I do know that Bio Men were adapted once

Yes originally Saban was going to use Jetman...he used Bioman to pitch the idea...but when Zyuranger came out he saw Dinosaurs and knew it would be a hit...

Try this Super Sentai Mahō Sentai Magiranger this is the Japanese version of power Rangers mystic force except in the Japanese version they are actually a family of sibling and the white ranger is there mother and koragg is there father and Solaris knight actually marries the blue ranger.
@@koreanangelgirl Yeah, but that season is already adapted a long time ago. They've should done it to a season that weren't even adapted into Power Rangers yet. Like they've could've done it with Dino Fury, ToQger, Zyuohger, Kiramager. Those 4 seasons that has 5 core Rangers. I know Dino Fury already adapted, but it's not out yet.
@@koreanangelgirl most people already know that Magiranger (alongside Fiveman and GoGo V) is a team of siblings (and other family members to an extent). The problem with adapting this concept into Power Rangers will limit the possible character developments (not that PR nor SS has much to begin with).

I'd like to see SuperSonic Green/Psycho Green team up with Lord Drakkon.
I'm pretty sure Saban tried to do that. When Saban was going to adapt Hurricaneger they were going to make it a civil war where Tommy is on 1 side and Jason is on the other. The Hurricane Rangers were going to be on Jason's side and the Thunder Rangers were on Tommy's. It was going to be called Hexagon but Disney bought the rights to Power Rangers and they made Ninja Storm which is less complicated than Hexagon.

I don’t know about you guys, but if you ask me, the Fiveman (Supersonic Rangers, whatever) suits are some of the best suits in Sentai!
The SuperSonic Ranger suits are really cool. I can definitely picture them for potential custom-made Voltron shirts.
I honestly think a " future " team of Supersonic would make for a great show! Have like a 3rd generation of SuperSonic Rangers. Maybe even have them be related to Lightspeed. Could still have a jerk of a green ranger, maybe he's the oldest out of the bunch.
Every super sentai from Goranger to Jetman deserves their own story in Power Rangers (TV and comics)! I hope that happens soon!!!!
One major problem if it will be on TV: the stock footage. These would be too old to look "natural" in the era of HDR/4K/UHD.
Bioman was supposed to be adapted to be the first Power Rangers but it failed.

I wonder if there are other power ranger comics that were adapted from various super sentai teams. Were the sentais that were skipped such as ToQger or the sentais that haven’t been adapted such as Kyuranger or Lupin vs Patoranger have power rangers comic books. (Sorry if I spelled some words wrong lol)

@Nikki Sunshine I think this is the only Power Rangers comic that adapts a Sentai that wasn’t adapted into the T.V. show besides Super Megaforce. Everything before Zyuranger, Dairanger kinda (only adapted the zords and white ranger), ToQger, Zyuhoger, Lupin vs Pat, Kyuranger have not been adapted into Power Rangers. One Sentai team I would like to see is the Jetman or Maskman team.
Because Rica Matsumoto who played Arthur G6 in Fiveman, she was brought back in BoonBoomger as Antonio Bunderias, the mentor and the voice of the mecha.

Supersonic may have quite some potential as an adaptation idea, but I still get the cringes from its origin point in Super Megaforce, just like with the other "new powers". Man, that season was a mess. Uh [ahem], sorry. Nice breakdown, man. I enjoyed it.

I would like to see more of The Squadron Rangers. The one based off Gosei Sentai Dairanger.
My theory is the Squadron Rangers. Could have been the team Zordon was part of to seal away rita over 10,000 years ago. An Zordon was the white ranger at the time. An they used the thunder zords. After Rita was locked in the dumpster and Zordon was trapped in his timewarp. The Squadron rangers left behind the orbs that had the thunder zords in them. An there morphers would end up being modified for the mighty Morphin suits.
@@johnathanfunk6745 I like the theory, but the white ranger is considerate as a mighty morphin ranger, so I believe that its power was never used during the era of the squadron rangers. Which means that Zordon might have been the red squadron ranger. Something must have happen with lord Zedd trying to steal the zeo cristal and Zordon had to flee with it and took the white light with him too.

Honestly Mighty Morphine should of been adapted from Fiveman because PR should of started with a none themed team, and because of the high school setting with the rangers being teachers.
Definitely they should do a ultimate crossover with super sentai and power rangers. Those two universe crossing over can be so cool. Super Megaforce and Gokaiger would be a perfect match

according to that comic the sonic rangers are the psycho rangers , which is a very cool thing to see especially since at the end of the story the psychos have a hint of who they once were in there personality's and set out on a redemption ark by finding there identity's
What we need to see is how the Morphing Grid came into existence. How did the first Rangers in the universe tap into the grid and begin the legacy of Power Rangers. Was Zordon a ranger? who was the first team formed? Some of these might have been answered but just in case!

Fun fact : this is the only season ever where black ranger was number 3. Usually when the rangers have numbers, black is number 2 or the 6th (aside from engine sentai go-onger where it was number 5). Also, the only season where yellow ranger was number 5 (usually is number 3 or 4)

Your right we didn't get the Power Rangers until the early 90's but in China and Japan power Rangers have been out since the 20's so ther are like 60 other Rangers team we never even know about the one we got are old to then but new to us.

I'd like to see if my fan theory about the Dairanger adaptation (Power Rangers Thunder Squadron) being the original Eltarian Power Rangers (assuming the recent movie is an alternate canon, like maybe the version from the RPM universe, or possibly Drakkon's universe (since Rita Repulsa was the original MM Green Dragon Ranger in the movie so the Green Dragon Power Coin is maybe cursed to corrupt its users, since when the Sword of Darkness was destroyed Tommy "decided" to remain evil.)) and Gosei being the original Red Dragon Thunder Ranger, with Zordon as the first White Tiger Thunder Ranger is correct.
