Hey Hey & I were born the same year & when old enough I watched every saturday growing up together changing from morning kids to night adults missing very few episodes, the Hey Hey Team are like family to me & I miss visiting them every week. Thank you Daryl for allowing me & everyone else who loves Hey Hey these little moments on YT & allowing us to share not only the Hearty Laughter but also the sadness in times like these when we lose a loved one😭😭😭😭😭 Much 💞 to all my Hey Hey Creator families & Viewer Families John, Dicky, Mrs Mac etc may you all Rest in Peace with Angel
Will never forget this show and the characters on it. Loved Dickie Knee and will always have fond memories of me as a teenager, my Mum and my Dad sitting there on many Saturday evenings watching and laughing. Goodbye JB.
A man of many voices. Always, and still do, have a absolute laugh at all the different characters. The sound effects that went with it all are classic. Dickey Knee getting whipped 🤣. Thank you Mr Blackman for all the laughs. ❤ Thank you Mr Somers for these clips. ❤ HHIS.
originality was the key to it all. Very creative television, a voice over character no one saw providing the laughs. Id like to have been around the production meeting when somoene came up with the idea. Im sure it would have met with skepticism? But he sure made it work. Had professional funny men stumped when at his mercy.
Like all good things, I took John Blackman's work / entertainment for granted for 20 years - I know it's a cliche, but "you don't know what you've got until it's gone"
They were such good times when Hey Hey was at its peak. Thanks for the memories Mr Blackman 👍🏼👍🏼
A true Aussie legend. RIP John Blackman
I doubt it - I am sure he is having God in stitches now.
John breaking character and cracking himself up was always hilarious.
It was just the best ❤
May he rest in peace. Brilliant man
A One Man Voice Over Industry ... yes that about sums it up. Was so awesome to see this. Thankyou for posting this. RIP John Blackman.
So many fond memories of many of these voices as a kid in the 80s/90s

Absolutely awesome comedian and so much more!! RIP John Blackman……Legend!! 🙏🙏
He wasn't a comedian though. Just a very funny and intelligent man. No disrespect to your comment intended.
Generations of today would never appreciate the intelligent comedy this show delivered. What a bloody fantastic show it was!
A one-man Joke machine...Love it. RIP Mr Blackman!!

John giving the English a lesson. And 2 brilliant English guys as well. They were impressed.
They don't make comedy like this any more. I miss this. RIP JB. You were hilarious.

So funny and naughty!
Dickie knee was his best voice.
But who didn’t love Mrs Mack
@mbbarnes80 Don't think I ever saw Dickie's sister before. She's a corker - Ophelia Knee!
@@comealongcomealong4480 his dad was called SID lol
Haaaaasaa never missed a night
Explain the jokes to a 7 year old daughter and tell me this should be acceptable, generational change takes soo long.
Thanks for the memories, John. 😢
