Well, I did the damn thing... I bought a 2022 3LT Z51 Convertible today, CG. Frankly, after following you for the last 2 years, you sold me on it. I'm super stoked. I'm excited to be a part of the community. 👊
That dealerships must not want to sell those ZO6. If they did they would have allow you to at least open the doors & film inside. This is not your first time visiting that dealer. SMH!
People can’t afford em, times are tough for a lot of folks. Not to mention all the negative equity people got on their vehicles from buying during the pandemic.
Those are KILLER deals IF YOU KNOW WHAT THIS CAR ACTUALLY IS and what you get from other brands for the same price. A Carrera S is 150k a pop, and that car is in the B leagues compared to ANY C8 Z06 with or without the Z07 package. Porsche aint doing so well these days, and GUARANTEED the Z06 is one of the reasons in North America.
@@thiosemicarbizidebenzoylal2921As of the third quarter of 2024, Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (PCNA) reported U.S. retail deliveries totaling 54,083 vehicles, marking a 4% decrease compared to the same period in 2023. The Macan remained the top-selling model with 17,993 units delivered year-to-date, though this reflects a decline from the previous year. In contrast, the iconic 911 model experienced significant growth, with sales increasing by 36.9% to 10,841 units. The 718 model also saw a 36.4% rise, reaching 3,821 units. The Cayenne maintained steady performance with 15,507 units sold, while the Taycan and Panamera models experienced declines, with 3,394 and 2,527 units delivered, respectively. Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) sales demonstrated positive momentum, achieving 31,427 units year-to-date, a 10% increase over the same period last year. PCNA's President and CEO, Timo Resch, expressed optimism for the fourth quarter, anticipating the arrival of refreshed models such as the new Taycan, Macan, 911, and Panamera PHEV, which are expected to bolster sales figures. Overall, while total sales have seen a slight decline, the strong performance of key models like the 911 and 718, along with growth in the CPO segment, indicates sustained demand and positions Porsche favorably for the upcoming quarter.
Im still not buying a c8. I still have the c7. I see more used c8 corvettes for sale by owners than i do for any other corvette in my area. 3lt c8 convertible ive seen going as low as 67k with 4k miles on it with zero accidents and no damage. Patience works wonders
I am on my second C8. I believe the C7 is a beautiful car, however I disagree with more C8’s for sale than C7’s For example, take a look at the inventory of corvettes for sell at either corvette world or corvette warehouse. Tell me which models are most frequently sold.
@Texas_Clay just in my area. I rarely see any c6 or c7s for sale. I have nothing but c8s on my market place for sale with the majority of them low miles. I was almost temped to buy one because their price is so low now but i like my manual c7. Its fun to drive
Good evening Clarence. We talked at Carlisle '23. Missed seeing there last summer. My wife had you to interview me on my Silver Flare C8. Well she has her own C8 now, and I'm trading in my Stingray this Saturday Dec. 7 on a '24 Eray. Next time you're in the Richmond Va. area, I was wondering if you could do a video on the both ours. Also, again we've started a club named " TRI-CITY VETTES ", and I would love to have our club be a part of it. Sorry for being so long
I used to be on a Z06 waiting list. I used to have a 2021 C8 convertible Z51. One day, my called me up and said, that he noticed that I was waiting for a Z06. He stated that someone had cancelled their Z06 order and if I wanted to take over his spot. He wanted me to pay 20k over msrp. I told him no. That no saved me around 30k in total. Are dealers human?
It's crazy how everyone trying to devalue the vette. That car is still close to where it was initially. I would assume the price gauging has gotten annoying to possible buyers. It should b.
I was at the Chrevelot dealership and there are a lot C8 and Z06 that there are raddling,in dashboards and they can’t find the problem. Car over a 100,000 dollars and the have any a few 1000 miles on them. People don’t believe the hype what he is selling. I seen it with my own eyes
Can't stand a true manual/stick shift not being an option. My biggest gripe. Otherwise I'd love to own 1. No I'm not just bagging on Chevy for this as I feel the same about the new GT500.
Chevy and the dealership did a great disservice to their loyal customers with these outrageous prices, used cars still bringing msrp is just ridiculous. Wouldn’t pay over 85k for any used c8 z06. Let them rot, wake up people
It's not plummeting they are just selling closer to Market value... their listed prices not "market adjusted" prices and the ZR1 is coming out so you have a lot of hopefuls thinking they are going to get one.. and you also have some brand new 24's on lots with new 25's coming and those hopefuls who traded in their Z06 already..used Z06's sitting next to new 24's about to be sitting next to 25's = price drop and a new model coming...The crazy thing is it's less drop with E-Rays why? Because they made less.. In 2019 they made it think less than 2500 ZR1's... it probably will be that or less... so everybody ain't getting one.. and I'm thinking 300K for them... but that will open the market back up for Z06's... they all will be around 125-135K... but anybody buying a vette with a markup KNOW they are and more than likely don't care...
Buying used over new is about car depreciation. Try it. Buy a new car, drive it off the lot and immediately pull back in and ask for the trade-in value. Or try to sell it to a new buyer who will rarely pay your asking price. Dealers do not have a good reputation.
It’s the same way GM sold a lot of 2022 and 2023 Camaros 3Lts and SS off the assembly lines have ass done. That why clump are knock sound on start up and cool downs. They says it some air valve coming from the transmission. That’s why I keep mines every two months at the dealership. And I got an extended warranty on my car. Just in case anything goes wrong with my transmission. I don’t want them to fix it I want a new one. So if you hear any of these sounds that it to the dealership. I think something they did do and they are waiting until your warranty runs out😠😠😠😠
They need to get the z06 well below the used exotics. While the performance numbers are great that only last for so long. Tesla plaid suffered this. 163k is nsx, Ferrari California territory. Love the z06 but gotta wait long stove still hot
You got to stop saying as well it's way too much. All you tubers I don't need yelled at in the beginning and as well has to go. Is it fill in words ? No more as well everyone

To all car dealerships. Don't put on the front license plates. You should be fined.
It’s California. They do stupid things here.
Seriously, it needs to be customer choice always
@ryanyoshimura you sign a waiver at the dealership and ur gucci

Metallic Grey... looks almost white in the shade. It's pretty unique.

I'll be part of that community in 20 years 😆
It’s absolute bullshit that they had these cars marked up so high and now if you want to trade your car in, you’ve completely lost your ass awful

Drove my ZO6/ZO7 with cup 2R across country this summer. Tires shot at 7,000 miles. With these tires, keep it in weather mode in the rain!
Thanks for the tip! I'm curious, was that your second set of tires you put on?
@cgarnerspeed252 No. ZO7 package comes with cup2R. Going to put on 4s more tread.
As much as these things cost they should come with the grill guards from the factory.
A more fair/accurate term would be market normalizing- not plummeting.
It's the winter shocking c8 aren't flying out the door
That’s a good point
Not for that price. Get them down to 2019 C7 range then that’ll have them “flying out the door”.

Heck yeah I totally agree with you! You are always consistent with leaving really good comments!!
A Carrera S is a Porsche. Big difference. A Porsche slings more status than a Chevy. Same wit Lamborghini.
Porsche isn't doing too well? Based on what? Try getting an allocation for a 911 that isn't a base model.
@@astenmorganjr3585 Uh, nope. Porsche sales down everywhere. Only Porsche on constraint is GT3RS.
