    O Brasil recebeu muita influência da cultura americana sim, da cultura italiana, japonesa, africana, portuguesa, árabe, judaica, alemã. Isto não é um problema. Somos um caldeirão de culturas, mas temos um identidade prórpia e sabemos conviver com isso.

      Concordo plenamente! Todas estas influências criam um povo mais tolerante e ais aberto.

    I think it's interesting how numerous of the interviewees have american brands on their shirts. Just goes to show the influence, and like the first guy was talking about, the fondness of shopping, and buying into brands.

    • @understandingbraziltheworl588
      @understandingbraziltheworl588 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yes! I also saw the T-Shirts and found it so suitable to the topic because it is a visual sign of how much the American Culture is already part of people's lives. Brazilians often travel to Miami and New York and spend most of their time in outlets, restaurants and Disney. That is like status for the middle class and yet even upper middle class. Really interesting!

    I enjoyed this video. I live in Canada but in a border city so I've been to the US many times. I think the desire for beauty in how we look and in our surroundings is something North America shares with Brazil, and I think it's a good way to be.

    So many beautiful people there.
    On the similarities, I think I see that we have the same happy attitude. We like to smile a lot and laugh. I’ve seen some Europeans say that this is annoying, and they think it’s all being fake.

      Sou estadounidense, e meu sonho é fugir deste país! No passado talvez foi boa lugar pra se viver, mas agora não. Infelizmente há muita hostilidade contra estrangeiros e imigrantes, entre uma parte significativa da nossa população. Muito feio.

    The similarities i think are both a western culture, democracy, and at least compared to some places, an acceptance of governance. Everything about shopping or this or that is the same in Argentina or Colombia etc

    Olá, eu sou de Miami. Eu gosto muito da cultura brasileira. A comida é muito gostosa y a pessoas são muito simpáticas. Eu fui introdução a cultura Brasileira por meu professor do jiu jitsu quem nasceu no Brasil. Nicole e sua amiga tem razão, a dança de Brasil é muito boa. Eu quero aprender a dançar como as brasileiras e também a cozinhar delicias do pais como pão de queijo, brigadeiros, e feijoada.

    Generally America influences the world in some ways, but in Brazil it probably goes as far as TV and entertainment. Other than that, All Latin American is very different, specially Brazil which is detached from Spanish speaking countries. Countries where US influences the most are western ones, like Europe, Australia, and some English speaking countries.

    eu acho que a cultura dos estados unidos influenciou muito o brasil na década de 30/40/50, hoje, não influencia mais, ao contrário, hoje o brasil, esta influenciando, não só os eua,como outros países da áfrica, ásia, e europa, na musica, nos biquinis, na forma que as brasileiras se depilam, até nos cabelos.etc. ----- wilson-niterói-rj
