  • The solo motorcycle camping adventure continues, after waking up at the perfect camp spot getting a swim in and checking out the locals, I ride through 100km of dirt roads through national Parks and twisting logging trails on my Royal Enfield Himalayan, then I head up the mountain to Dead Horse Gap where the wind picks up and the temperature drops.

Yes it's so important to stop and take it all in, I am not traveling too somewhere the end destination isn't that exciting I have already been there (home 😂😂) it's all the new places and things that happen along the way so if I trying to go fast I'd miss everything.

Loving following your trip Joe. I totally get your comment about why it is great to travel alone, especially if you're not following a strict itinery: stopping when something grabs your attention. I've been on too many rides with others and feel the constant pressure to keep going. In doing so, I've flashed past so many things that I would have liked to stop and investigate, photograph etc. Then again, I haven't had the luxury of taking too much time to be able to travel at a slower pace but having also bought a Himmy, I plan to travel more in the 'Himmy lane'. Cheers

GRmoto exhaust, Hand guards, a few of those protective plates on some of the more delicate parts, Panniers. I put on the extra fuel cans.
