Hello Roger. I just subscribed and decided to watch your first video. What blew me away was you praising God above all. Never change that way of life 👊🏻
Thank you Sulaiman! Really appreciate that! When I observe all these critters in the reef tank closely, I not only see diversity but also commonality, the very beautiful nature in which I'm in awe of the creator and the creation.
Hello, your tank is beautiful. Our Malu anemone got stuck in power head and it partially disintegrated. Can we use this method to try and salvage the “good half”?
@@RKDS11 Please closely monitor and make sure that it opens up in the day. If not, it indicates that something is holding it from recovery, subject to further investigation. God bless!
Thank you Paul! It’s easiest to get them out of the cave when they contract into blobs at night or when they are moving. Use fingernails to slowly detach them from the rock.
Yes, right through the middle of the mouth. Both half mouths will grow into two complete mouths in a couple of weeks. And they will be centred in the base in a few months.
@@erikkop I haven't been able to confirm this. But once they are acclimated to your tank env, they will always bubble up. What I can confirm though is that they are sensitive to nitrates. Try to lower your nitrates to as low as 5 and given time they will bubble up.
You should cut them with a long flat blade like how a bread knife is where you can push it completely flash on cutting surface. Best down with a long flat razor You can apply downward pressure and cut the nem like a stack of papers is cut. This technique in the video here is bad technique going back and forth butchering and touching all over, BRSTV shows you better technique with quick cut. watch?v=nwb92qDQABs and watch?v=9HeNy9aWm6I

I love the surprise ending. I suffer with anxiety it's actually why I started a reef tank to calm me. Thank you for this video
The tank tour was lovely. Thanks for your insight on fragging and corals,

Thank you! I once found my nem in power head too, severely damaged. I didn’t do anything but it grew back. Just FYI. Hope your nem will get well soon.
Thank you Roger, I hope it does, it’s hiding between the rock work at the minute.

Lovely tank! How did you manage to get the nem out of the cave in the first place?

He's right.. It is difficult to cut them in harf 1:23
did you cut right through the anemone's mouth? Does another mouth grow?
Yes, right through the middle of the mouth. Both half mouths will grow into two complete mouths in a couple of weeks. And they will be centred in the base in a few months.
Good job
Thank you for watching😇
What is the Latin name of this anemone.
Great vid.
Thank you! I'm not so sure about its Latin name, is it Entacmaea quadricolor?
@@zzyz thx m8. Can you tell me the secret about the bubble tips. Most of the time the tentacles are getting long instead of bubbles.

Great tutorial...greater life advice. Acts 4:12 KJV

How did you manage not to get stung
Nems do sting. That's why I wear gloves.
Oh ......
Your a genius 🤦

Thank you for your suggestions. I'll try to apply next time.
I would be too scared that I'd kill it...
